Good luck with that!So the only lefty, lib, pinko response to this is deflection and attacking the messenger?
Hey libs, how about you actually address the issue of charging people with a misdemeanor if they can't or won't buy health insurance or pay a "fee" (call it anything but a tax)?
Go on.....I dare you!

Well, after all, it is the libs who are whining about "too many people being put in jail". Hell, that's the ACLU's main mantra.Good luck with that!So the only lefty, lib, pinko response to this is deflection and attacking the messenger?

GOPcare: Buy insurance from the large insurance corps or die.
Change the subject and attack. Good one. But it's already been done on this thread.
Just defend the proposition.
Sen. John Ensign (R-Nev.) received a handwritten note Thursday from Joint Committee on Taxation Chief of Staff Tom Barthold confirming the penalty for failing to pay the up to $1,900 fine for not buying health insurance. "Violators" could also be charged with a Misdemeanor and could face up to a year in jail or a $25,000 penalty,Barthold wrote on JCT letterhead. He signed it "Sincerely,Thomas A. Barthold."
So there will be a Health Care Gestapo created after all. This is and never was just "Silly Paranoia" like so many were accused of by the Hopey Changey Sheep. This is reality. Lets just hope & pray that our Politicians stand on the side of Freedom & Liberty and do not support this current health care legislation. We do not have to be forced to give up more of our Freedom & Liberty in the name of possibly better health care. Just isn't a wise trade-off in my humble opinion. Surely we can fix our health care without further oppressing the people. I hope all will urge their representatives in Congress to vote against this legislation.
Senator John Ensign?
Has his Mommy and Daddy paid off any more of his mistresses and their families lately?

sorry I was just employing the far-right tactic I have seen used for the last 20 years.
this is a gift horse for the insurance industry... we are better off having a Medicare system we can buy in to or be taxed for, that covers all imo....
i don't feel good about making this mandatory...
then, if you do not, or do not have a public option, there is nothing to lower our health care expenses and insurance companies can charge as high a price as they would like....and not care because it is mandatory for citizens to buy insurance from them....so...they have guaranteed customers....no need to compete.
I didn't know that a public option would wipe out all the insurance corps?!?..... how will this happen?
"I don't need maternity care. So requiring that on my insurance policy is something that I don't need and will make the policy more expensive."
-- Jon Kyl (R-Total Ass) after Sen. Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) argued
that insurers must be required to cover basic maternity care, Link
I'm just guesing here but Jon I think your Mother did.
