OBAMACARE: 32 Million New Patients, 46% less MDs

Yeah, not a thing.

Anyway, did you actually watch the video in the OP? There were several very serious, very wrong assertions about the role of comparative effectiveness research and the responsibilities of the Office of the National Coordinator for HIT. Do you think presenting those fantasies to a group of voters is defensible?

20-somethings can satisfy the mandate by buying only catastrophic coverage, they don't have to buy comprehensive coverage (even though many of them would be heavily subsidized if they chose to do so).

Greenbeard:

No matter how you will try to OBFUSCATE and DISTORT the INCONTROVERTIBLE FACTS with BULLSHIT, your MATH won't be able to overcome the following THREE TRUE OR FALSE QUESTIONS:

FACT ONE: Obamacare will incur 32 Million ADDITIONAL more currently non-paying patients. True or False ?

FACT TWO: Given the data, there is a projection that there will be 46% less MDs. True or False ?

FACT THREE: Even without the projection, with 32 million ADDITIONAL currently none paying patients and the SAME number of MDs there WILL be prodigious rationing ? True or False ?

No matter how you try to DELUGE these THREE FACTS with OBAMARRHOIDAL BULLSHIT your BULLSHIT can't overcome the OBVIOUS MATH.
Ridiculous! There are 255 million people with health insurance. Adding 32 million increases the load on the healthcare system by 12%. Are you telling me our healthcare system can not handle a 12% increase? Couple that with the fact that our healthcare system will expand to cover additional patients and many of these people are getting healthcare that is written off by the providers. You're joisting with windmills.

It's not going to expand. It's going to contract when government puts the brakes on construction of private hospitals and cuts reimbursements, while mandating more services and paying less into state Medicaid budgets.

Just an FYI. He's talking about factual patient load. You're responding about infrastructure and payment opinions. You may want to get on the same page.

Same difference. The patient universe, and mandated services, are growing, but the provider universe will shrink.

Who are the dopes who think they can get more for less, or even the same as they are paying now?

The Obamarrhoidal LIEBturd dopes figure that their formula of something for nothing is the sacrosanct principle of REALITY......and nothing.....absolutely NOTHING..... will dissuade them from this belief as long as we......the rest of the population.....pay for their freebies.

It's really simple as that.

Well, no. One deals with definite patient increases, the other deals with uncertain beliefs about how those patient increases will be dealt with. Your opinion isn't invalid, but it doesn't shoot down his point at all.

Let me know when you're done with your temper tantrum and want to use your words to make a point like a big boy.

NOT A SINGLE OBAMARRHOIDAL LIEBTURD ARSEHOLE WILL DO THAT.......And, you can take that to the bank.

AND......WHY WON'T THESE OBAMARRHOIDAL LIEBTURD ARSEHOLES LEAVE FOR THESE SUPPOSEDLY BETTER MEDICALLY SERVICED COUNTRIES ?????

I am not sure your figure is correct. Have a link expalining how they derived that figure? That is over 10% of the population with no medical care. Outrageous if true.

FACT TWO: Given the data, there is a projection that there will be 46% less MDs. True or False ?

Was the data projected to get a projected figure? They call that fuzzy numbers. But for the sake of your fantasies, lets say there will be 46% less doctors. Where did they go? And what happens in a capitalist society when a vacancy appears in the medical field? Hmm? YES!! You get a gold ring!! They are replaced with another doctor fresh out of medical school with the latest medical techology use, and we will live longer healther lives.

FACT THREE: Even without the projection, with 32 million ADDITIONAL currently none paying patients and the SAME number of MDs there WILL be prodigious rationing ? True or False ?

True, No rationing. There are plenty of doctors waiting in the isles to cover the additional 32 million. National Health Care is a dream come true from the greatest president ever!!

Well, hhhm, they are not three FACTS. Projections =/= FACTS

Now if you could get some hard figures you might be able to make a case, but in the meantime you are wasting peoples time on this thread with your projected hypothesis.

Where is Obama going to get all these new doctors? The 50% who already drop out of urban high schools?

The world is full of doctors coming to America all the time. We are adrift in doctors. Why would a capitalist system be short of doctors? LMO!!!

The question is, where do you think those doctors are going to go?? Will they flood the medical field stealing clients from some other doctors? Are they going to give up the Benz, pool, 5 car garage & girlfriend to make this transistion to a lower lifestyle with 50% less clients and lower fees? Will they give up that free liability insurance the government will give them and pay the insurance themelves? Will they get their own office and equipment and personnel and pay tons of taxes for them? I mean, you been licking the chocolate ice cream, time to bite the cone.

For the 200 million+ people who are covered by private health insurance, the payment for services is determined by the insurance company and not the government and that's not going to change. For the 45 million people on Medicare the reimbursement rates are projected to drop. Either the Medicare patient or their supplemental insurance will make up the difference which will mean higher cost for the patient but not the doctor. Only those doctors that agree to accept Medicare assignment will be affected and this is not going to cause 46% of the doctors to take up a new profession. There also exist the possibility that Medicare Part B premiums will be increased to offset the cut in reimbursement rates.

IMHO there is probably going to be some change in law before 2014. If the Supreme Court throws out the mandatory coverage, there will be major changes.

Thankfully, there are going to be enough rational people who will make the elimination of Obamarrhoidal LEIbturd insanity a nightmare of the past.

It is difficult to imagine if there are enough of you crazies to prevail in 2010 and 2012.

I have exposed enough factual information for the sane to make the correct conclusions.

As to you whackjobs.......you are hopeless.

I am not sure that even you believe your own bullshit.

C'ya.

As Albert Einstein said, "If the facts don't fit the theory, change the facts." In the case of healthcare reform the few facts that exist are being twisted and new facts are being created out of conjecture and projections. The evidence to support the claims of the opposition just don't exist.

The claim that nearly half the doctors in the US are going to give up their practice is not supported by fact. It is a scare tactic with no more creditability than the "death squads" propaganda.

Making things bold and ending sentences with catch phrases you heard on bad political shows does not count in lieu of the points you seem to be lacking.

I have exposed enough factual information
See you keep SAYING things like that, and yet you seem incapable of providing any legitimate source that actually shows this "factual information" you made up is actually true. Oopsies.

It is a fact that more people will have access to the same number of physicians.

It is not a fact that care will therefore not be rationed.
