Obama years so bad that 7.8 percent seems like a good number

Even if it's a manipulated 7.8 percent. Dems actually think he can get re-elected with these numbers? This was predicted like clock work months ago by all the pundits on the right. Obama does it like clockwork. Scary stuff.

Only republicans see recovery, albeit slow, as scary. Man up there scaredy-cat.

Slow growth, no growth, record low workforce participation IS scary, numbnuts. So is increased poverty. But the scariest thing is that dolts like you think Obama is doing a great job, despite all evidence.

And republicans have not acted in any way that indicates they give a shit about any of that except as a problem to be compounded and prolonged as nothing more than a tactic to make Obama a one term president.

The teabag congress is so inept that can't even obstruct right.

Americans are waking up and realizing who is really at fault here.

See ya, teabrains, wouldn't want to be ya.

That human turd, Allen West, will be flushed Nov. 6!!

Housing starts up 29%

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- The U.S. housing industry -- crucial to any jobs recovery -- showed more signs of strength, according to two reports issued Wednesday. The Census Bureau said housing starts and permits rose substantially in August. Separately, sales of previously occupied homes climbed 7.8% from a year ago, according to the National Association of Realtors.

Builders started on new homes at an annual rate of 750,000, up 29.1% compared with a year earlier. They applied to build another 803,000 new homes on an annual basis, a 24.5% jump compared with August 2011.

Car sales up 13%

NEW YORK (CNMoney) -- U.S. car buyers flooded showrooms in September, sending auto sales to their highest level in more than four years. Overall sales were were up 13% from a year ago, according to sales tracker Autodata, which put the pace of sales at an annual rate of just under 15 million vehicles.

So just because the rightwing propaganda machine telegraphed their plans to advance another crazy conspiracy theory if UE fell below 8%,

that's supposed to be the evidence that it's true??

lol

The GOP talks about the bad economy every single day, and what they will do to reverse 3 years of decline. What has Obama done since the GOP took the House? Oh yeah, run for re-election.

Do you think that adding 114,000 jobs can cause a 3.5 drop? That math doesn't add up.

We have just had the fastest drop in unemployment since 1984....from 10.2% to 7.8%%. All this in spite of the fact that House Republicans have blocked infrastructure spending bills that would have helped. Why? Because Republicans are more concerned with winning the election than helping America.

Sorry, the experiment of tax cuts for the wealthy and deregulation has been done already to no clear benefit to the American working class, other then that they have nothing and America knows it.

So 7.8% UE is too high for Obama to deserve being re-elected?

Do you know what September UE was when Reagan won 49 states in 1984?

7.3%

lol, big difference, eh?

The Reagan years were the largest increase in growth post WW2. The Obama years have been the worst recovery on record.
I think that speaks for itself as to which is working. Are you really prepared to say Obama's policies have been a success?

Is the public so gullible that they will buy this, or will they recognize it for a massive lie and get pissed off? People generally know when they are unemployed, when their friends are unemployed, when family starts bursting homes at the seams because so many family members are unemployed.

Telling them that it's really getting better isn't going to help.

Was that higher or lower than the day Reagan took office?
IS UE today higher or lower than the day Obama took office?
