General Motors is denying a report that it pressed the White House to sell off the remaining shares of GM stock held by the U.S. Treasury.

The government needs the share price to go up 10 before they will consider selling.

Otherwise, the American people take an even bigger bath (than we will if they sell at the mid 30's).

We will never recover our investment.

The government can't have Romney telling the American people how the government lost all that money.

The government is right to not let GM "walk away" and hand a 15 billion dollar loss to the tax payers.

And for you to say that we will never recover our investment is a sign of shallow thinking. Consider this: Obama's auto bail out saved thousands if not hundreds of thousands of jobs
, not only in the auto industry but also for those supporting entities that make glass , tires, paint etc...consider also, that every saved job represents a worker who is paying taxes. That is revenue my friend.
