The Great Socialist Victories continue, as even Great Socialist Propaganda Organ, Wall Street Journal, ground out tunes against the Basis-Free-Tea-Party GOP!

Central Government Intervention into the marketplace--roundly endorsed at WSJ--will continue!

House GOP relents on payroll tax cut deal - CNN.com

Of the Party of Abraham Lincoln, likely everyone now knows that Tea Party GOP intends an economy more like Haiti or Drought-Stricken, East Africa. Least-Government-of-all is their mantra, just like those two areas famously of the planet earth.

And so Great Socialist, Minority Leader McConnell--shed the mantra for the Socialist Progress now getting underway!

"Crow, James Crow: Shaken, Not Stirred!"
(Born On A Mountaintop in Tennessee, Even Davy Crockett somehow became identified with Kentucky, or the Alamo, or something(?)! Great wonders of ideology now uppermost on minds of Americans(?)!)

And what did he win? The fact that no one in Congress can pass a bill that really means anything? Is that his goal? Somethimes I think it is. Congratulations, Mr. President.

Real Conservatives Hoard Cash, and spread what there is around to their friends: Supporting monarchies, with army leading aristocracies to further the Cause of Jesus Christ on all the planet--if not the way that other monarchies, with army leading aristocracies--actually see the Cause of Jesus Christ that way. Their Cause of Jesus Christ is the Cause that is supposed to prevail.

"Crow, James Crow: Shaken, Not Stirred!"
(Actually, Laissez-Faire Haiti and Drought-Stricken East Africa are so purely laissez-faire: That they really don't have any money--both markets that True Conservatives believe in, including for America! No More Spend is What They Were For!)

Even before Senator Barry Goldwater, Republican Conservatives have been for less and less central government: In the manner of their paradise, Haiti or Drought-Stricken East Africa. GOP Cantor is famously opposed to federal relief, likely even for droght-stricken Texas.

The subject of Texas did not come up in the comedy road-show debates, complete with blackface, hollering: "Nein! Nein! Nein!" Clearly, Haiti and East Africa were also not covered in the Republican, Road-Show, debates.

Likely no state is happier, with the turn of events: Than Kentucky!

"Crow, James Crow: Shaken, Not Stirred!
(Always charming to spot a civilized sort making itself more. . . .observable against the. . . .well. . . .alternatives(?)!)

Yep. Holding out against a minor gain for the middle class and the working poor while supporting major gains for the very wealthy was stinking all over the place.

So the Repugs backed down. But the smell is still there. 2012, time for a major change in the Congress. The Teabaggers are obviously a bunch of Kochsuckers.

The middle class win.

How so........?

only a measly 2 month payroll cut was achieved.....instead of a whole year cut that the Reps were willing to do...

in a short 2 months everybody gets to go through this shit ALL OVER AGAIN.....because nothing has been really solved.....but maybe you like to play kick the can......

libtards can really suck up the BO Koolaid....

A more accurate thread title would be this:

Boehner, House Republicans Cave

Actually, I suspect that many of the House Republicans wanted the deal, but for some strange reason, Boehner pulled a boner and screwed himself. I don't think Nancy ever brought a Democratic Bill to the floor that didn't get passed. Boehner is simply in over his head. His lack of experience is showing. He is not a leader.

The OP is grossly unfair to Haiti and East Africa. They could not dare to dream of our negative fifteen trillion dollar, "brokest nation in history", status.

Seriously.. The House Republican bill was to extend the tax cut for another YEAR, instead we get the the ridiculous two month, bookkeeping nightmare that Obama and Reid created. What exactly are you liberals applauding?

Your signature: 1,000 days without a budget and we wonder why the uncertainty in the job market.

When Gallup asked small business owners earlier this month what would cause them to hire new employees in the next year, a plurality (27 percent) said an increase in sales or revenues. Rounding out the top three responses: 20 percent pointed to an overall improvement in the economy, and 17 percent indicated that the need to support growth or expansion plans would cause them to hire new employees. In other words: Greater demand for their goods and services would lead to new hiring. The same poll found that "lack of consumer demand" was the third most frequently mentioned "problem facing small business owners like you today."

Business Owners Say "Lack of Demand"

When your signature line is proven to be bullshit, you need a new signature line. Just sayin'

Thank the Republicans for that. Putting the economy back in their hands would be a world wide depression.

2 months with nothing attached is better than 1 year with extra bullshit added on. 1 year would be great, but no one offered up a 1 year long clean bill. What we got was the next best option.

A logical person would see that.

What better way to improve our economy than FUCKING BUILD ONE.
Build a budget. Adhere to it. Show some fiscal responsibility.
Then maybe, just maybe, shit will stabilize and IMPROVE.

No. A logical person sees that this is just so much bullshit being flung out to the masses to once again try to disguise the fact that our representatives are incapable of doing their jobs.

Right. Because it's in great shape right now. And the Obamacare fiasco has not even begun.
