Overall, I've always thought he sucked but lately he seems better. The GOP has some serious problems ahead of them this year. They really could have come up with better candidates.

Well, let's see, for starters how about the fact that most polls show the American people believe we're headed in the wrong direction, somewhere around 70%. Higher than when he took office, no? Yes.

Then there's the deficit, Obama raised about as much in 4 years as Bush did in 8.

Then there's the so-called recovery, the one that is more anemic than any in the last century outside of the Great Depression.

What about that great Stimulus Bill, the one that cost us nearly a trillion bucks? You remember, we were supposed to bring the UE rate down well below 8% a long time ago. Didn't happen.

Then there's ObamaCare, the bill that the majority of Americans want repealed since the day it was signed. More than half of the states are still trying to get it ruled unconstitutional, yeah good job there.

And Dodd-Frank, the bill that was supposed to ensure there would be no more "too big too fail". And yet all we see is larger corps, crowding out smaller businesses.

Good thing Obama fixed the credit crisis, and got banks lending again. Oh wait, no he didn't, instead he added more rules and regs and now banks are hamstrung.

Well, at least he corrected the home foreclosure problem and got the housing market squared away. No wait, he didn't do that either.

I know! He saved or created what, millions of jobs! No wait, we still don't have as many people working now as we did when he took office, and the labor participation rate is the lowest it's been in like 30 years.

But at least he didn't gut our military. Oops. Working on it.

He must've put out a good energy plan to get us off foreign oil, right? Uh, no.

What's the price of food and gas now compared to what is was BO (Before Obama)? Gotta be lower. No.

I'm sure he lowered the corporate tax rate (tied highest in the world) and created a positive and stable business climate to grow the economy, right? Wrong.

So, when did he change the way Washington does business?

Hope and Change. Now it's Hope For a Change.

Good question. The fact that Obama had been awarded one for doing nothing sewed it up for me that the award is political...and nothing else.
