Government cannot "create" jobs per se. It can only change the structure of production. Every dollar the government uses to create jobs is a dollar taken from the free market to create jobs, and the free market creates jobs based on supply and demand not political favoritism. Not to mention bureaucrats suck up money with bloated salaries and produce nothing. Government only distorts the market when it creates jobs by stealing private jobs.

Will the elderly gratefully thank the GOP for the few thousand dollars they will be given to go look for an insurance policy they know will never be found in lieu of Medicare?
