Obama wants lower corporate tax rates

It's a concern on both sides of the aisle that tax loopholes are detrimental.

Did he do it for political reasons? Probably, but it's a smarter plan than simply lowering the rate and ignoring the problematic tax code.

So now you agree we were right all along.

Damn, all it took to become a good idea was for a (D) to put his stamp on it.

I love the taste of hypocracy in the morning.

mmm

taste like well done toast.

you mean like the idea of individual mandates for health insurance originally being a republican plan, straight out of the heritage foundation, that magically became "socialist" and "unconstitutional" as soon as it no longer had an (R) on it?

that kind of hypocritical? :eusa_whistle:

I haven't been an (R) for about 15 years. So if what you say is true, sure.

But it won't stop you from cheering obama for doing what we've asked him all along.

If you followed suit, you should be demanding to know why obama hates the poor and why he's sucking up to the 1%.

So how exactly am I being hypocritical? I favor the plan because it targets tax loopholes.

Shrinks government. You are against that, fully.
Lowers the tax rate on corporations. you are maniacally against that.

but like I said, the idea has a (D) on it.

I don't like the lowering of the corporate tax rate. However in this case, it keeps corps from taking advantage of loopholes, which is worse.

neither.

corps save money and hopefully the cost of living will come down. they will save money next time they do taxes b/c there will be less regulations for them to have to deal with.

It's a win-win.

Does anyone know if GE is getting a free pass on the loop holes? or any of those losing green corps?

if they get a pass this is just more horseshit.
