Obama vs GOP: Obama Winning?

LOL............I know what you did:

It doesn't take much for a Republican to get upset about social security. They screamed to high heaven when FDR signed it into law in 1935. They have fought it tooth and toenail ever since. Why in hell are they so upset about a little maneuvering with the totals now....it's still the only program in DC which pays it's own way.

The defense budget is nearly a trillion dollars a year and the interest on the national debt which Reagan and the Bushes borrowed to fund low taxes for the wealthy and corporations is about half a trillion each year. Why in the name of goodness are they so upset about what used to be the middle class getting a few billion to tide them over.

SocSecurity is totally broke, you could have Jon Corzine run it and it would only improve

That's a goddam Republican lie. The government has borrowed $2.5 trillion from the social security trust and unless they plan on fucking the people out of it the fund is solvent until 2040.

broke - definition of broke by the Free Online Dictionary, Thesaurus and Encyclopedia.
Lacking funds

If the funds have been 'borrowed', and are 'supposed' to be paid back, that by definition means the funds are not there now, and so... broke is the correct term.

So what's the next step............defaulting on the $15 trillion we owe banks in Japan, Canada and China, $10 trillion run up by Reagan and the Bushes

It's NOT Obama against the Republicans.

It's the Republicans against the American middle class.

The difference is vast.

It has been that way for years. They have tried sticking it up the middle class's ass on health care, social security and medicare. And yet what happened on Bush's watch when the GOP controlled ALL THREE branches of government? Not a thing. The gutless fucking cowards failed to pass one piece of meaningful legislation to overhaul SS.

And back to the OP......the GOP has even recognized that they overplayed their hand and may have just handed Obama a second term.

The voters will not forget this.

Untrue.

Accounts receivable - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Accounts receivable also known as Debtors, is money owed to a business by its clients (customers) and shown on its Balance Sheet as an asset"

So long as assets exceed liabilities, the program is not broke. Only if there is reason to believe that the account payable will not be paid does it get removed from the asset column.

Obama is coming off as a tax cutter looking out for the middle class while Republicans are sucking up to the TeaTards

Yes, President Obama is winning this particular debate. The GOP is continually doing the EXACT OPPOSITE of what the American people want which is why THEIR approval rating is almost in single digits and he's still riding high in comparison.

What I find most amusing about what you define as an Obama "win", Sea...is that it simply points out, once again...what another four years of this man as President will look like for the country. More gridlock...more kicking tough issues a few months down the road or to some Super Committee because he doesn't have a plan to fix the economy or the deficit or even to submit a budget. If that's what you want, people...vote the guy back in. Don't whine about the results however...it's quite obvious what you'll be getting.

An Obama "win" means that America loses...once again.

Then tell the GOP to stop their obstructionist policies.

Funny how everytime some House bill goes to the Senate it's either disappears into Harry Reid's desk or gets gutted by the Democrats in the Senate...yet it's the GOP that are the "obstructionists"?

So tell me how this is going to work going forward, Goose? Obama and Harry Reid spend the next four years blocking everything that comes from the GOP House and trying to sell that it's the GOP's fault...is that what we have to look forward to?

We'll be lucky if we have a country left by 2016.

Look Numbnuts....the money was deducted from indivduals paychecks and deposited into the social security fund. If the government defaults on payments to beneficiaries they are goddam crooks. I'd sooner see them tell China to go screw themselves and return the money they owe to the people who paid into the fund.

Are You Nuts Or What

You'd think the GOP would have a problem with these Teabaggin'-rookies running-loose!!!!

January 30, 2012

"Last week, Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) announced he would take revenge for President Obama’s decision to make four recess appointments by engaging in a scorched earth campaign of obstruction against the president’s nominees.

Lee is, in many ways, the perfect foil to the president. While Obama wants nothing more than for the Senate to consider his nominees in a timely manner and give them an up or down vote, Lee’s short political career is marred by escalating displays of extremism and embarrassing overreach."
