Obama uses Teleprompter for 6th Grader Audience at Elementary School.

haha, they are afraid he'll go off script to the 6th graders, and sound like a fuckin' idiot, again, so ahh, um, ya, the prompter goes too!

This empty suit has to be one of the biggest frauds thrust upon the American people in at least a century.

Michelle is doing a PSA for Haiti relief. It's 15-20 seconds and she is reading the text. Guess teleprompting is an 'all in the family' thing.

Why is she bothering doing a PSA? After all, we are a mean spirited nation so why waste time asking these mean Americans to help the Haitians. Personally, I find her even more annoying than the empty suit she's married to.

*Ponders whether there is a law allowing people to marry empty suits.*

Obama Asking For $1.35 Billion For Race To The Top Education Program

1/19/2010 12:07 PM ET

(RTTNews) - Speaking in Falls Church, Virginia, on Tuesday, President Barack Obama asked Congress for $1.35 billion in the 2011 budget for his Race to the Top education program.

If given the funds, the White House said the program would expand to recognize school districts that are prepared to embark on system-wide improvement of their educational policies and practices, enabling them to compete directly for a grant under the program.

The Race to the Top program was originally part of the $787 billion economic stimulus program. It was originally $4.3 billion in competitive grants provided to states under the stimulus plan."

But don't let that bother you. Continue mocking the petty shit.

Makes you guys look really.....cool.

It probably would have been best

Since kids tend to be more honest, they should have take them out of the room for Papa Obama speech

Due to the honest nature of most children, they probably saw it as a case of that classic childhood fairy tale-:

"The Emperor’s New Clothes".

But among the crowds a little child suddenly gasped out, "But he hasn't got anything on."

Indeed, they can see better than some adults the novice in front of them. One does wonder if any were brave enough to yell out, "But he hasn't got anything on" after seeing the "real president" the TOTUS in action.

Even if it was for a presser and they took ALL the children out of the room, needing a teleprompter is still kind of embarrassing. We're talking about giving a prepared statement and answering a few questions here, not the Gettysburg Address.

So in your opinion presidents should memorize each and every speech they give?

His handlers know he's a complete disaster without his teleprompter crutches.

One of the few times he speaks without them is during his infrequent news conferences. After he gets through his prepared remarks with prompter help he's on his own during the Q & A, and that's when the great orator falls flat on his ass. And it's not just the many ums and ahs and whatnot. He just runs on and on saying the same thing over and over in slightly different ways. Give him a watch next time and you'll see how utterly pathetic he is when he's on his own.

I don't think anybody expects that. But it would be nice if the POTUS had a clue or conviction about what he was speaking. Sure you refer to notes to get difficult names, dates, statistics, etc. right. Anybody giving a speech usually has to do that. But you also know what you're talking about, believe it, and can explain it whether or not you have a teleprompter. Certainly a person well informed on his subject could address school children without a teleprompter.

George W. Bush, whatever is failings as President, could do that. From what I've seen so far, Barack Obama rarely can. That suggests that he is actually clueless and without conviction - or - he is a puppet for unseen powers.
