ABC News on the internet appears to have the prepared remarks of President Obama at the United Nations, today, September 25. The opening paragraphs need to be widely noticed. The President of the United States acknowledged the aid of the government of Libya in the aftermath of the attack of the embassy.

The Great Ideals of Franklin Delano Roosevelt, of the United Nations, were embraced in the address. "Obama-Cool" characterized the approach to the showcasing of Iran--which is notably now working within a timeframe of limits: Insofar as the planet can now regard them.

Transcript: President Obama Delivers Remarks at the United Nations, Invokes Slain Libya Ambassador Chris Stevens, Iran - ABC News

Liberal Governor Jerry Brown, formerly of the "Era of Limits," was not even indirectly noted or otherwise cited, even apologizing for Governor Swarzenegger, the kid, or the mess in Sacramento(?)! No direct references to Satan--from any source--were made.

When Senator McCain was trying to get a grip on the concept of the Middle East--Mostly there were apparently some flying carpets that were going to have them all invading the United States. So instead of having them kill Americans here, then the objective instead was to send Americans into pre-industrial revolution nations so that Americans could all be killed over there(?)!

Again, however, Satan was not being discussed at all by President Obama!

The Democrats have nurtured an Arab Spring, while in office busy with other matters: Apparently basketball related(?)!

It was a campaign speech, designed to make nice with as many people as possible. There was no strength in this speech anyplace. There was no resolve. There was "can't we all get along". There was not a single syllable of leadership.

In the text of prepared remarks, this below appears--and other references to changing attitudes and opinions in the Mideast: About the United States!

However, I do believe that it is the obligation of all leaders, in all countries, to speak out forcefully against violence and extremism. It is time to marginalize those who – even when not resorting to violence – use hatred of America, or the West, or Israel as a central principle of politics. For that only gives cover, and sometimes makes excuses, for those who resort to violence.

That brand of politics – one that pits East against West; South against North; Muslim against Christian, Hindu, and Jew – cannot deliver the promise of freedom. To the youth, it offers only false hope. Burning an American flag will do nothing to educate a child. Smashing apart a restaurant will not fill an empty stomach. Attacking an Embassy won't create a single job. That brand of politics only makes it harder to achieve what we must do together: educating our children and creating the opportunities they deserve; protecting human rights, and extending democracy's promise.

So there is allusion aplenty to the more Australian contention: "If you are going to behave like violent extremists, then you should expect to be treated like violent extremists."

Thanks to the support of Obama-Biden, then even in Libya the government is so far on board. The Saudis, and others, can find new friends!

Flying magic carpets is about. . ."Seems like only yesterday!'
