Your party is attempting to create class envy in this country in their endeavor to socialize us and it's in play in every news broadcast you see. Just look thru these threads and it is evident by most that have a 'liberal' point of view. I often wonder why the people who are excoriating the corporations and the rich in this country never ever seem to look at what the politicians in DC are doing and question any of that? What's happening right now in DC is a complete crime to every citizen in this country. Do you really believe that they are for the 'average' guy? If so, naive doesn't even begin to describe it. When people start to realize that there is no one in DC standing up for the 'average' guy, then we might actually start to make some progress in this country. There's nothing political about my post. I believe that they (politicians) are all in the same boat, but I especially think that the liberal Democrats are the worse because they are lying to the uneducated public in their quest for more power and more reliance on the state by the average citizen by creating class envy to push a socialist agenda.

What's hilarious about the "stupidity of the American population"-- is that they actually believe that a mere 5% of the so-called "rich" in this country are going to be able to give the rest (95% of us) a tax break, even paying for the 40% of this population that pays no income tax what-so-ever, & THEN somehow pay for our medical insurance too.

FUZZY MATH AT IT'S BEST--& those who voted for Barack Obama, swallowed it hook, line & sinker.

After all is done, the middle class of this country is going to get flat nailed to the wall in taxes to pay for all of this. Anyone who denies it--is not capable of adding 2 + 2 & coming up with 4.

BTW--out of this 250K that Obama promises to raise their taxes to all time highs to pay for the above--a whopping 80% of these people, are small business's. Good Luck to the employees of these companies on keeping their jobs!

so, you say that 80% of the people in this country, that has a combined income of $250k or more are small businesses?

I am not sure what the proportion is exactly, but something like 1%-2% own, what is it, 50% of the wealth in America? So, yes, the math works.

Taxes are applied at the bottom line, not the top line. Whether you draw it down out of your privately-held corporation or your salary, the economics are the same.
