Obama to speak on Libya this afternoon

The conservatives are going to say the same thing they did when Obama ordered the OBL killing....it was leaving the Bush policies in place that did the trick. Oh!.....wait!......Bush didn't start the UN Libyan action. I wonder what they'll come up with?

Maybe they'll say Obama is hogging all the credit......Oh!....wait!......Republicans were against the Libyan action, and threatened to impeach Obama.

Maybe they'll just say he's wrong for taking credit.....Oh!.....wait!.......he is the only reason it happened the way it did....I'm sure conservatives would have givien him ALL of the blame if it went badly....why do conservatives give Obama none of the credit, and all of the blame? Not a very reasonable bunch are they?

That's funny cause I'm not saying any of those things.
See my edited version.....better?

You have a bad habit of lumping all Republicans in with a small minority of Republicans. When OBL got his, I gave credit to SEAL TEAM 6.

You have a bad habit of lumping all Republicans in with a small minority of Republicans. A few Republicans called for impeachment... a VERY few.

You have a bad habit of lumping all Republicans in with a small minority of Republicans. If you note above, I said Obama made the right decision in giving someone ELSE the lead on this. As have the VAST MAJORITY of Republicans.

Not a very reasonable bunch sometimes.......ya think?
You're a little dim... ya think?

Either way... I'm just not like most conservatives.

Dim? He was in Clockwork Orange.

I guess Obama tact worked much better than Bush's huh?

Alot cheaper too.

His 'tack' (it's a nautical term...) not tact, was to let someone else lead for once. Good move.
Tact works........

tact noun \ˈtakt\

Definition of TACT
1: sensitive mental or aesthetic perception <converted the novel into a play with remarkable skill and tact>
2: a keen sense of what to do or say in order to maintain good relations with others or avoid offense

So, you're saying Obama used a good tact (to avoid offending anyone), as opposed to a specific tack (a course of action or conduct, especially one differing from some preceding or other course) like taking the lead as we always have in the past?

I think my word is infinitely more appropriate here.

Obama let someone else lead, and that was a good move on his part.

It was up prior to him talking Sallow. It is actually lower than before he spoke.

Well the fact that this is coming to an end..may have a good effect on the economy. Oil prices might go lower and there is a wealth of opportunity for Americans in Libya.

Thank you for giving the real reason we went through with this operation.

It's the only real reason, just like in Iraq. What other reason, but national interest, should there be for going to war? Just like in Bosnia and Kosovo, those wars had to be ended before they caused a religious rift in NATO's southern tier.

Okay.....I take back my assertion that you guys will give him none of the credit and all of the blame, and I cannot stand any posts that start out with "So you're saying".....because they never accuratly portray what I was saying.

Admit it.....you will find every way you can to minimize any accomplishments Obama has. It's not your fault....100% advocacy media infects people with that kind of bias.

And they're not?

You're making me laugh a lot harder than Sallow did.
Laugh on this: Redistribution of wealth.

I happen to be a secular fiscal conservative and a social libertarian. Not many of us out there...though that's what most of the Republican party was before Reagan called in the southern social conservative bible thumpers because he needed votes

I think the idea this was just about oil to be simplistic. Hillary is waiting to rush in and Democratize Libya. I suspect Libyians will be allowed to vote here in 2012.

There were multiple reasons.

Those are some of the benefits.
