Where is he not spending money? Every tax cut is spending money.
You need to quit worshipping his large Negro penis and take a look at what his alleged economic policies actually involve. Then you might get some clue as to why we are in the shape we are in and why it isn't going to get better.

Most of the spending the Federal government does should be axed perminately. Everything except the DoD and DoJ.

Yep schools, roads, FDA, etc should be axed.

Schools are funded at the local level. Roads are usually funded at the local/state level. FDA should be scaled back massively.
How about: NEA, Agriculture dept, HUD, FhA, VA to name a few.

Yep lets just get rid of all of them.
And see how fast we can become a second or third world country.

In the late 70's the price of milk was controlled to the point where I wasn't the only one that slaughtered cattle to keep the barn. I raised tobacco too, and it pulled me through. I dabbled in horses, but at the time I lived in NC and couldn't make money at it. Here in Az I raise horses now and have accidently made a hobby a living because of the demand of the rodeo, and the fact that I am breeding wild mustangs for rodeo ponies. The wild ones are not much good for anything but breeding stock, but the foals can be tamed down.


Anyway, will the 'new' spending freeze actually work?
I see it as step in the right direction, but also see the danger of unintended consequences in it.

I think that to get back on track the more painful a route is the better it will work out in the long run.

The easiest route will keep us where we are now.

I'd support him if he showed he had a clue as to what to do. As it is, he doesn't. He doesn't even know what he doesn't know.
Let's review:
Economy: Promised unemployment rate would not exceed 8% if his stimulus bill passed. Bill passed. Unemployment rate now 10% and rising.
Foreign policy: Reached out to dictatorships like Iran and No.Korea. Result: North Korea planning more tests of nuclear bombs, Iran flatly refusing any negotiation with Obama.
Environment: Promised cap n trade legislation. Result: Legislation stalled, likely dead.
Health care: Promised all negotiations would be on CSPAN. Promised you could keep your health plan. Promised it wouldn't raise costs. Result: Dying plan in Congress that threatens Americans with jail for not buying expensive policies. Negotiations resulting in sweetheart deals for unions, Louisiana, Nebraska done in back rooms.

That's some record right there, sweetie. I didnt mention his debacle in Honduras or the recent snub by Chavez. Or Obama's snub of the Dalai Lama which hasn't resulted in better relations with CHina. Or his tariffs on Chinese tires, raising costs to Americans and angering the CHinese.
Remind me again what it is that makes Obama so great? And not being Bush doesnt count. Plenty of people are not George Bush.

He isnt instituting a spending free. The article is deceptive. He is proposing that some of the budget is frozen. He still intends to increase spending and the debt.

Too much micromanaging of the economy by this President and Congress. The Socialists really have blown it. Less Government really is the answer. I think more & more Americans are catching on to this. Make 2010 count people.

This so called spending freeze is a complete sham. Aside from national defense it also won't effect stimulus spending, welfare entitlements, and of course the proposed health care bill. In other words it will freeze something like 1% of spending, while the rest of the spending will continue to grow.
