The number may not be exactly accurate.. but it depends on what you call rich. The top 5% of income earners pay 57% of all income tax, how do you think that number jumps when you talk about the top 20%? But regardless, like most mindless, you missed the point of the post. The "free ride" is taken by those who choose not to work, not by the working people paying taxes ( including the rich), as suggested by the prior poster.
