The refinery fires have had a significant impact. And I wonder how much ETHANOL has increased since the drought. Gotta be pretty high. I wonder why the business channels don't run the Ethanol price on the ticker more..

Yeah, and I just heard last night that Obama is attempting another push to free up product from our strategic reserves in order to send the price down a bit in time for the election.

The last time he was pushing for this, if memory serves he got a total of one of the 28 nations who co-own our strategic reserves on board with him.

Oddly, at that time everyone seemed more concerned with Iran shutting down the Straight of Hormuz than with getting Obushdidit reelected. Somehow I don't believe that has changed much.
