Obama Screws Middle Class Again

the Obama Administration was responsible for the tax cut to begin with as a victory against Republican opposition -

the public hopefully is beginning to see the sinister aspect of Tea Party Republicans who gleefully allowed that tax to be increased but jockeyed the 250K tax to be raised to 450K when they tried to insist on 1M.

surely this is in jest???

Soggy is really a lefty socialist wanting others to provide for him so he does not have to be productive.

So, Soggy, you want the government to subsidize your SS payments, you want the government to support you. Is that right?

Why don't you want to pay your full share of SS, since it is a program we pay into.

Because he doesn't want to take personal responsibility. He'd rather the productive citizens pay for his retirement.

Less than two months ago, shortly after the election, more than half of America viewed the TPM as unpopular. With the lastest scrum in the House and Senate over the tax reductions (thanks to the Pubs and Dems who worked for the public's good), that popularity will be even less and growing smaller.

Middle-class workers will take a bigger hit to their income proportionately than those earning between $200,000 and $500,000 under the new fiscal cliff deal, according to the nonpartisan Tax Policy Center.
Earners in the latter group will pay an average 1.3 percent more - or an additional $2,711 - in taxes this year, while workers making between $30,000 and $200,000 will see their paychecks shrink by as much as 1.7 percent - or up to $1,784 - the D.C.-based think tank reported.
Overall, nearly 80 percent of households will pay more money to the federal government as a result of the fiscal cliff deal.

They payroll tax cut expired you fucking idiots. Funny I didn't hear a single one of you hypocrites thanking Obama for the tax cut when the payroll tax cut was passed.

Less money in your paycheck is less money. It doesn't matter how it happened. Does the power company or phone company give you a break on your bills because a tax break expired? Does food cost less because of it?

Are you like Soggy, ignoring personal responsibility and wanting others to provide for your old age?

Got my first check of the year yesterday. It went down.

Me too, it was about $15 less than it normally is....assholes!

All i did was respond to TN's comment that i ALSO got a lower check! What has THAT got to do with what you said? Besides, i've worked full time for 40 years...don't tell me i'm sitting on my ass and letting someone else provide for me! I'll be 60 this year, i would like to retire when i'm 65....I really don't think i'm going to be able to. But i'll keep working so the scumbags that want to sit on their asses can and get their free stuff. That's the least i could do...huh?

The Republicans were responsible for all the tax cuts in the "fiscal cliff" deal to begin with, so your point is idiotic.

and Republicans then started an unfunded unprovoked 9 year Iraqi war and spent like drunken sailors causing the deepest Recession since the Great Depression without a dime being spent to balance a budget the previous Democratic Administration had just accomplished.

Obama campaigned to lower taxes on Working Americans and kept his word - the difference between the two parties is obvious.

Defensive, hmmm, I see. We got the best deal we could because the ultras in both parties are making it very difficult. I am glad we got a deal. I don't mind having paid my SS taxes for me and my employees. With means testing coming, I may not get that pay out, but that's OK, because America has been so wonderful to me and my family.

Yeah but in Republicanland more money isn't more money because not a single one of you idiots ever said "thanks Obama for signing a payroll tax holiday" into law. Tell you what. Why don't you take all the money you saved from the tax cut, and mail it to the U.S. Treasury? Then it will be like the temporary payroll tax cut never happened, so you'll have nothing to whine about!
