As long as there is a real safety net for those truly in need. Today what passes for a safety net is pathetic.

I look at my own mother. My father is deceased. Without her SS check she would have zero income per month. She lives month to month. He was a factory worker his whole life. Never was able to save a cent.

There are some truly in need. Fortunately I have done very well (I built it!) and am able to help her when needed.

BTW.....your mother paid into SS her whole life....she's not a welfare recipient...

When coaxed by liberals to remain jobless, to have children in return for greater income and to expect being taken care of with other people's money...they are exactly that...parasites.

Romney was totally correct in not worrying about getting their vote this time around. It will take more that political speeches to turn their attitudes around and get them to stop looking for a free ride.

The truly disabled should be taken care of. Those that are able to work should do so...or be housed in medium security prisons with no cell phones, no TV, no internet, no conjugal visits.

That's about right. It's unfortunate that people are so incredibly gullible. Obama has spent four years creating his voter bloc coalition of useful idiot and useful innocent dependents. The saddest part is not those who are in dire straits and voting to secure their ability to obtain entitlements, no. The worst are the fucking completely reckless toolsheds that vote to have their fellow working folks wealth confiscated and redistributed to those sitting around waiting for the next hand out.

These are the worst of the bunch. They do it because they think it is the compassionate and humane thing to do. What these useful toolsheds fail to realize, is that you get absolutely no moral credit for voting for someone else to steal from some to give to others. It's lazy, arrogant and ignorant. If you want to help those you deem less fortunate, get off your lazy ass and get out there and help them with your own money, time and effort. Don't vote for someone to conscript the rest of us into doing what you feel is right. Thats a fuckign cop out of the highest order.
