Israel is about the the size of NJ, while the arab countries are about the size of the US.

Yet, the arabs refuse to recognize Israel's right to exist no matter how small it is.

Let's review, shall we. European Christians kill a bunch of Jews. They also killed a bunch of other people, but the Jews whinged about it the loudest, so everyone felt really bad. So they decided, "Hey, let's give them a big chunk of land to have their own country." Now instead of carving that country out of Germany, which would have been completely fair, they carve that country out of Palestine, which was under British occupation because the British tricked the Arabs into driving out the Turks in the last war.
So a bunch of European Jews move there, and force the Arabs off the land they've resided in for hundreds of years. The Arabs don't like that and fight back, but they lose.
Of course, today's Jews in Europe and America don't really see this as being so cool. The Jews in Israel realize that hey, you know what, rather than fight over a crappy desert, we can move to America or Europe where they've developed nice secular democracies where no one cares what your religion is, and you can practice it as much or as little as you want. So they are moving the hell out while the Arabs are multiplying.
So what do the Zionists do? Irony of ironies, their selling point is, "Hey, American Christian Funditards, we need to have Israel so Jay-a-zus can come back!" Of course, since a bunch of bad shit is going to happen when Jesus comes back, you'd think you'd want to put that off if you actually believed that silly nonsense.
So Israel, which was created because Christians were dicks, is now being supported by... Christians.

If someone wants to argue we should withdraw from the region, that's one argument. If someone wants to argue Israel isn't a vital ally that's another argument.

1) Doesn't matter if Jews "lived" there. Ownership of the land was by the Muslims until the Jews drove them off.
2) It wasn't the UN's land to give away. Or the British empires, for that matter.
3) Israel is actually pretty worthless as an ally. 99% of the problems we have in that region are because we support this vanity state.

Both of which recognized that the Arabs were the valid residents of the land and respected that. They didn't drive them out. The biggest mistake the Arabs made was trusting the British, who lied to them to get them to fight the Turks.

Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Palestine- these are all labels the west puts on things. The fact is that there were Arabs living on that land, they were the majority of residents, until the Zionists drove them off their own land.

Israel hasn't won a war since 1967. They keep whining to us to bail them out.
They'd have been wiped off the map in 1973 if Nixon hadn't intevened.
Reagan had to bail them out of the Lebanon misadventure in the 1980's.
