my opinion... not a chance

Ninety percent of Democrats, 8% of Republicans approve of him

PRINCETON, NJ -- Thus far in October, an average of 90% of Democrats, and 8% of Republicans, approve of the job Barack Obama is doing as president. That 82-percentage-point gap in approval ratings by party is on pace to be the largest Gallup has measured for a recent incumbent president in the final month before Americans vote on his re-election. George W. Bush had an 80-point party gap in approval, while the October gaps for other presidents were less than 70 points.

Never could, never was going to and never will. Moot question.

And America is doing a great job of ripping itself a part all on it's own. If you think McCain winning 4 years ago or Romney winning in a month would've or will bring this country together, I pity your delusions.

The conservative media and the GOP is doing FAR more to foment division than Obama. All along the accusations of being a secret Muslim, secret Socialist, secret Communist, scary negro, has had only one purpose, to make Obama himself the artificial wedge issue of the election season.

.

I don't think Obama's ripping the country apart. However, my biggest disappointment of his term has been the fact that he's done absolutely nothing to bring the country together, and we've never had a President better equipped to do so.

And "it's all the other guys' fault" line won't cut it. Obama has chosen not to take the lead, take a risk, stick his neck out. He's just voted "present".

Sadly you're the pathetically deluded one here..

Apparently, Dems approve Obama downgrading our credit, blasting an annual trillion hole in the budget and blatantly lying about terrorist attacks

Not sure we can share a country with these lunatics

I think Obama has and is doing everything he can to tear the nation down. He wants it rebuilt into something he and his find ideal and many others do not want. What disturbs me the most is the overwhelming amount of bigotry that has been coming out of the left in the past few years. It's just amazing that any disagreement with Obama at all is met with instant screams of racism and followed up by huge amounts of racist comments direct at those they are accusing of being racists.

He hasn't united the country at any time during his 4 year in office, so why should we expect him to now?

So in other words, you don't have a rebuttal to my assertions.

Well hot damn! That was easy

Thanks for playing.

If he was equipped he would have done it but alas he's failed miserably.

Mon Dieu!

Is there anyone here (anyone at all) who seriously believes for one minute that conservatives ever had any intention whatsoever of doing anything other than obstructing virtually everything that President Obama and the Democrats proposed?

In light of republicans voting against their own ideas and calling them socialism I wonder just what Obama could have ever done to unite the nation other than resign and commit suicide.

Ability and desire are two different things, that's for sure.

Do you think Romney can do what Obama couldn't and unite this country in a way that lifts it out of the rut it's in?

Yup, blame conservatives for Obama's inability to negotiate for the American people..

Basically, you're admitting Obama is unqualified for leadership.

"I think Obama has and is doing everything he can to tear the nation down. He wants it rebuilt into something he and his find ideal and many others do not want. "

and I think that conservatives (fox news, hate radio, ann coulter, michelle malkin etc) are doing their best to fan the flames of the culture war. Accusing liberals of FALSE crimes in their attempt to establish a CHRISTIAN nation. Calling liberals;

traitors
treasonous
morons
the enemy
the REAL enemy
terrorist lovers

with the intent of instilling extreme anger and hatred into people like.....you!

(hey! it worked!)

and with such mindless hatred based on false realities it is IMPOSSIBLE for you to ever come to an agreement with liberals.

you CAN'T be friends with them...they are the ENEMY!

you can't let them have ANYTHING! they are EVIL!

(let's not forget congressman Brouns declaration just the other day that people who do not believe in creation are EVIL! from the PIT of HELL!....which was defended by people like you!)

I expect you to refuse to accept any responsibility for the situation we are in but rational people can easily see that YOU and people like you are JUST as guilty of TEARING DOWN America!
