Obama Regime helps to free murderer of 5 Marines

Feigning indignity, outrage, and remorse, the Obama Administration quietly watched from the sidelines as a Hezbollah commander, guilty of planning the murder of five U.S. Marines, was set free on July 30th by the Iraqi central criminal court.

In January of 2007, a dozen or more terrorists dressed in U.S. uniforms opened fire on a military camp in Karbala, just south of Baghdad. One soldier died at the scene; and four others were kidnapped, tortured, and murdered by the terrorists. The mastermind of this complex and well-planned attack was Ali Mussa Daqduq, a Lebanese national taken by U.S. forces in Basra just 2 months after the operation.

Nova, et al,

Yes, well, there is a lot unspoken here. "Helped" is not the right word.

And now, for the rest of the story:

Our friends, the one's we liberated, those Iraqi --- to which we still give aid, have taken the matter into court (Iraqi Court) and found Ali Mussa Daqduq - NOT GUILTY, and have refused to honor a US request for Extradition to America.

Ali Mussa Daqduq is supported by Iran, and Iran is highly influential in Iraq.

Most Respectfully,
R

Why shouldn't the Iraqi government treat its more powerful neighbor, Iran, with respect and treat Obama with contempt? Iran has seen through all of Obama's posturing and understands there are no red lines that would cause Obama to use military force to stop Iran's nuclear weapons programs. Just as Israel has learned that Obama is not a reliable ally in defending Israel from an Iranian nuclear weapon, so Iraq understands Obama is not a reliable ally should Iraq become engaged in conflict with Iran.

Diplomacy has failed to slow down Iran's nuclear weapons programs, sanctions have failed to slow down Iran's nuclear weapons programs and it's a safe bet that right now Axelrod and Plouffe are hard at work trying to figure out who Obama should blame when Iran does acquire nukes rather than how to prevent that from happening. We get a lot of posturing from Obama over small feel good programs, but there is an air of helplessness about the Obama administration whenever it is faced with difficult problem or a hard decision.
