That is totally irrelevant though – you are arguing with him on a point that is immaterial. The SOTU speech is little more than a political tool that the president uses. It has absolutely nothing to do with actual policy at all.
I could care less what was offered in the speech – it was what was actually done that matters and it is crystal clear that Obama had no intention of doing anything at all with keystone (even when the environmental impact studies found it was better). Keystone has always been a political payback for the rabid greenies in the far left.
