When asked during a campaign interview if he'd used marijuana he couldn't lie because, as with Bill Clinton, too many people knew him back then and would denounce him. So he needed to tell the truth. But rather than just just admit that he'd smoked pot and add that he now thinks it isn't a good idea, what he did is cleverly and deliberately convey the clear impression to millions of pro-marijuana voters that he is not anti-marijuana, thereby raising their hopes that he might be opposed to its Draconian prohibition. He did that by emphatically stating he not only smoked marijuana but did so "Frequently!" And that deceitfully redundant adverb undoubtedly secured millions of votes from citizens who are weary of the counterproductive persecution of a relatively harmless recreational substance.
If that wasn't bad enough, shortly after announcing (as President) that he would prevent federal interference with the distribution of medically prescribed marijuana the DEA raided a number of California dispensaries and has been harrassing others ever since -- without a word about it from Obama.
The Liberal Comedians committee for the DNC on tv convinced young voters that George W. Bush was a bare-butt monkey whose military service in the Texas National Guard made him a criminal coward and that John McCain's 7 years in a Hanoi prison didn't qualify him to be a war hero because getting a phone call from a huckster tainted him for life as being one of the Keating Five, even though he was not censured by the Senate since he didn't do anything wrong.~~sigh~~ How did this guy get to be President??

Also, the DNC decided the easiest way to get and keep power was to organize students to see how many times they could vote. The ones who voted 20 or more times got to hand out the pot to everyone else and become junior precinct chairmen in the next election.
