Oct. 13: Arizona and the Spanish-Speaking Vote

...President Obama is performing very well among Hispanics (58% to 28%). This represents an improvement on his result among Hispanics in Arizona in 2008, where he defeated John McCain by 15 points among that key group.

There must be a reason they pulled out Arizona for the first time.

Why Arizona may be the surprise of 2012 – the big Latino vote that you didn’t see coming

Jim Acosta just tweeted: Obama leads 44-42% in Arizona!

Although AZ poll very likely an outlier, one scary thing for Romney is that it included Spanish-language interviews. (1/3)

Yeah that's how it works: Oppressive Gov't floods a country with immigrants, gives them taxpayer funded benefits all in an effort to keep themselves in power.

Those illegals will eventually vote for more taxes and less freedom. Guaranteed!

That's how you lose your country. The worst part is idiots like the OP celebrate it!

If mexican-americans vote for obozo and his soft on illegals policy, then they are idiots. No one is hurt more by illegals than legal mexican-americans. How can a legal american with brown skin and a spanish name get a job when every employer assumes he's illegal.?

And along the way those politicians collect huge bribes from corporate america in exchange for letting the cheap labor illegals in.

Hispanics make up roughly 25% of Arizona voters. Assuming that ALL hispanics vote for obama, it doesn't mean he will carry the state. Not all hispanics vote democrat.

It has been an interesting election cycle for certain. I live in a very rural area of Arizona, and about half of the population in my county that doesn't live on the reservation is hispanic. Obama is very unpopular here with everyone I talk to. The navajo Nation is about a third of the population of our county, and they are not happy with Obama as he is seen as the reason the EPA closing two of thier four power plants and restricting the mining of coal on Black Mesa.
In Apache County Obama will definatley lose. However; the thing is this county has a population of about 70,000 total. The three 'urban' counties in Arizona, Maricopa, Cocnino and Pima counties contain the majority of the states population. Those three counties usually decide how Arizona's electorial votes are allocated.
It has been and continues to be an intertesting election cycle.

Really?? Hispanics support the president?? Get the fuck out of here!! Who saw that one coming?

Were you just born last week or something? The title of this thread may as well just be "Breaking! The sky is blue!!"

And this is good news why???

Oh yeah, bad news for America as a whole... is good news to Barack Hussein Obama and his stupid assed minions.

:eusa_clap:

Now it SHOULD be obvious why we do need "proper" ID in order to vote.

By the Way, all the Real Credible polling groups still have Romney with a Comfortable lead in AZ.

nearly plus 5 on RCP.

So good luck with this wishful thinking.

Half of Mexico is socialist as all hell. Most will of course vote that way!

I don't know what part of Mexico you are talking about but it sure isn't the one that just elected a very conservative PRI president! And, almost all Hispanic tv [I watch on a daily basis] shows rather conservative traits as compared to our alphabet networks.

Even in the government-sponsored ejidos, they don't wish a lot of government interference in their lives.

Of all the media outlets airing in the USA, which one asked Barry Hussein the toughest questions?

I predict Romney's win in AZ will be in the single digits percentage wise. Obama can call that a victory in my view.

Obama is going down.

I don't think Obama will win Arizona. I think he could have made it very interesting if he put some resources into it. But then again, why should he? He's going to win re-election pretty easily running the strategy he's got now.
