Obama paraphrase....I'm not ready to be President in 08

Why are responding to a posting to Charles about a different issue?

Sorry when I see BS i feel compelled to respond....I will try in the future to ignore ignorant posts, sorry...

Speaking of BS.

Charles was saying we didn't know anything about Obama. That is ridiculous. He has been in the public eye for many years. We know just about everything there is to know about him.

Be honest with yourself without google, name how many pieces of legislation he passed before announcing his run for the presidency?

That's the silliest thing you have ever posted. All these guys have had their live probed to the nth degree. Not to mention ten million debates and twelve million public speeches.

Then there is this thing called the Internet. Read about Obama at this link.....

Barack Obama - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Nothing silly about it at all. I follow this shit pretty close, and the only thing I am sure of about Obama is he wants to be president and is willing to say just about anything to get there.

I guess I should clarify, I thought I knew where Obama stood on most issues, until the primary ended and he started his rampant revising of his stances. So now I have a hard time believing anything the guy says, and I think most Americans should too. Hence my original Comment about it being foolish to support him.

The lefties and college pin heads are ready for him but real flag waving, clear thinking Americans are not for a man of his character and lack of experience.

This is the talking point that the Republicans are using now that he is a "flip flopper." They did the same thing with John Kerry in the last election. Obama has been pretty consistance in his positions. It makes a nice story for FoxNews, however. It shows how little they have on him. They have to make something up. They have to Swiftboat him somehow.

Knowing about a man, and Knowing what his policies will be are not the same think by the way.

Kirk are you actually trying to say he has not made some rather drastic shifts is position since winning the primary?

Oh and keep in mind I do not like McCain either, I am voting for Bob Barr. So you can relax since we all know a vote for Barr is a vote for Obama right :)

"Flag waving, clear thinking Americans?"

You mean like the ones that voted for George Bush?

No like the ones that know a community organizer doesn't qualify you for the presidency....

Obama agreed by the way, but he flip flopped now he says he is qualified.....LOL

That is exactly what I am saying.

He wants to get us out of Iraq as soon as possible. He doesn't want us to be there for "a hundred years" like McCain. Plus McCain is going to choose Mitt Romney for VP, and if McCain dies in office, then that *sshole will be president.

Obama is one of the most qualified men to run for president in a long time. He went to Harvard Law and graduated Magna Cum Laude. He worked in international business. He worked as a civil rights attorney. He taught constitutional law. He was a state legislator. He is a U.S. Senator. He is on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee which means he has been getting the top secret CIA briefings for years. He is thoughtful, intelligent, and charismatic. He will present a new face of America to the world. A multicultural, multiracial face. This is very important, because we need the world's help in achieving our goals. Bush Sr. understood this. Clinton understood this. Bush the Lesser did not.

As soon as possible....hmmm....March of 2008, now, as soon as conditions allow or within 16 months?? Those are all timeframes he has used?

I see you can't answer the question about, how many pieces of legislation he sponsored that became law before he announced his candidacy, without the help of google. I see, I'll give you the answer 1....

LOL he serves on the Senate Foreign Relations and he hasn't held one hearing on the war in Afgan., he has never visited Afgan., he has never met with Gen. Patraeus....But he is qualified LOL

Thanks for the answer, Can't say I agree but at least you responded. Iraq is by far not the only issue he has changed on.

Oh and why wont you include the entire quote from McCain and not just the 100 years part. After all he did clarify it with "as long as American are not getting killed". Oh wait it does not hurt him as bad if you include that eh. Someone sure is partisan here, and considering who I am voting for I know it is not me.

No the ones who voted against Al "the carbonator" Gore and Swift boat Kerry.

Eggplant can sponsor or co-sponsor a bill.

The question is, what bills did Obama "write" and get "passed" into law?
