Obama Open-Mic Slip: President Reveals Details On Budget Deal Talks

I love it.

When Obama doesn't say anything, he's a wimp.

When he does his job and campaigns for his issues, he's a bully.

We've come to yet another failure of Con logic - Obama can't be both a wimp and a bully, just like he can't be both a socialist bent on the destruction of America and "Bush III", or be both a Muslim and a member of Reverend Wright's church.

Call me crazy..but I like the bully.

And hope to see more of it.

Bully isn't a bad thing..when you are dealing with Bullies.

He's not a bully. He's just has a big mouth.

Only the worst of the left likes somebody that talks the way Obama did a couple of days ago, mainly because it means trouble for all of us.

No... Obama ran on not dividing but bringing the two parties together.
Are you really one of those people who believe a word that politicians say? Every politician runs on sweetness and light, none ever hold up. Why is it shocking that the same is true of Obama?

Wait... Obama started this thread?

We have a deficit that is crushing us, do you understand that? While he picks on Ryan Obama's "Budget" is MUCH worse. Yet all I hear is cheering, "yay Obama smacked down a Republican yay."
That's interesting, because I haven't heard that. All I've heard is Cons bashing Obama for "whining" and "being a bully".

Any ways, have fun supporting your torture supporting, war starting, homeland security expanding, war expanding, Bush tax cut passing, secret prison loving, state hating President and Dem congress... Oh and I base that all off, well, reality... And that's the small list, for the long list read Bush's policies during his presidency.
Why do you assume that I'm an Obama supporter? I'm not. I didn't vote for him in 2008, and it's unlikely I'll vote for him in 2012. Is it because you think all liberals must support Obama? Or is it because anyone who doesn't hate Obama must support him?

I have respect for the truth, no matter which side it falls on. When you guys are being intellectually dishonest, I'll call you out on it.

You took everything as wrong as possible....

No Obama didn't start the thread, he divided people to the point we get dumb shit threads like this 1.

If you did not see in this theard alone where "liberals" or whatever are "fuk yeah!" and claiming Obama gave the smack down to Cons then there is no point in us debating because you have not read the thread.

Who cares why I think you "might" be a Obama supporter, it was a more open ended statement to the thread of Obama supports, it's a fucking political board on the Internet, I don't know who every person voted for and supports, do you?

Good job Barry....Keep revealing to us all what a small-minded, thuggish, puerile little manchild you are.

He's more grown up than some random old assed douchebag who comes on message-boards every day to get his fill of making smug comments.

LIFE. Got one?

Armchair QB's are always right.

That comment is just dripping with irony.....and hypocrisy.

I think it's hilarious when someone says Obama is being big, brave, and bad when the skinny little prick will never accept the blame for anything. Going on 3 years into his presidency and he's still blaming Bush for his troubles.

Remember folks.

All that PREACHING about CIVILITY..

was only for Republicans.

what a friggen joke. Obama IS FINALLY giving it to Republicans.

what the hell happened to, CAN'T WE ALL GET TOGETHER. the Obama was going to be the GREAT UNITER....:lmao::lmao:

Hey! Sweeetie,, will you go to the BACK of da bus and sit down and stfu? Willyahuh?:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Why aren't Stoned useless code pink Democrat berkeley smelly hippy young "men" protesting Obama's illegal war for oil in libya?

Seems odd.

I'm not pissed at all....I'm relieved that arrogant little tyrant turds like him are freely smoking themselves out for who they really are.

Well, then I guess you'll be pissed when you realize that this isn't gonna change anyone's mind. Obama's polling isn't going to go down because of this, if anything it will go up.

The over all trend has been nothing but down. Don't get your hopes up. This incident is trivial, Obama is failing as a leader in so many other ways his numbers are not going to recover unless he wakes up, loses the arrogance and grows into this job.

The jig is up, he can not hide who he is anymore, he has been exposed as a petty, Juvenile, Arrogant, lying, ass who has little grasp of his current job.

This Election is going to be much tougher for Obama. He can no longer pretend.

Obama caught on an open-mic, revealing how he gave Repubs a smack-down over their attempt to kill health care reform. :clap2:

Obama Open-Mic Slip: President Reveals Details On Budget Deal Talks (AUDIO)

President Barack Obama was caught on an open mic making some blunt and intriguing remarks about the actions of Republicans in recent budget negotiations that produced a deal to avert a government shutdown at a fundraiser in Chicago on Thursday, CBS News reports.

In audio relayed by the network, the president can be heard addressing unsuccessful Republican maneuvering to roll back portions of health care reform, as well as restrict Planned Parenthood from receiving federal funding, in reaching an agreement.

"I said, 'You want to repeal health care?'" Obama revealed at the private event. "Go at it. We'll have that debate. You're not going to be able to do that by nickel-and-diming me in the budget. You think we're stupid?'"

Ultimately, the resolutions pushed by Republicans targeting what may be the president's most significant legislative accomplishment to date and the women's health service provider failed to advance with the larger budget deal.

"Put it in a separate bill," the president said he told House Speaker John Boehner and members of his staff. "We'll call it up. And if you think you can overturn my veto, try it. But don't try to sneak this through."

What ever it still has to be funded and I do not forsee it happening for 2 years. Who's the joke on now beatch

Yeah, but progressives(liberals) want a petty, juvenile, arrogant, lying ass.

Here's what Obama had to say about the deficit on April 13th:

And for those willfully ignorant neocon parrots/birthers/oathers/libertarians, etc. who still don't get it, here's a plain talk version from yesterday's address to his supporters and constitutents:

Obama to GOP: "You think we're stupid?" - CBS News Video

You're a fool.:eusa_angel:

Your opinion is like whistling in the mud....impossible to take seriously. The first words out of Obama's mouth told the tale.

Good afternoon. It’s great to be back at GW. I want you to know that one of the reasons I kept the government open was so I could be here today with all of you. I wanted to make sure you had one more excuse to skip class. You’re welcome.

This arrogant SOB likes to take credit for everything.

Evidently, no adult ever explained to MudWhistle what an "opening joke" is in a speech. Evidently, old Muddy is just another willfully ignorant neocon parrot who's frustrated that Obama logically and factually tossed Ryan's nonsense intot the waste basket, so sour grapes is all Muddy has to offer.

I'm not impressed with the flowery words. They're meaningless. We need honesty and someone who will be frank with the American people, not bullshit us.

Translation: Muddy didn't even read the speech or watch the video....so he just blows neocon smoke (or in this case, whistles in the mud). Carry on.

It was all by design.

He's trying to get his SHEEP back in the stable because they have been "mad" at him.

I not only think this was done on purpose, I also think it was very effective.

I heard the tape and I think Obama was way too clear and on-message to be un-scripted. And, he was also in the perfect place with the perfect audience to have such a “flub” occur. So I give credit where credit is due, this was a brilliant move.

And now the media is doing their job (defining the 2012 arguments) to the entire country (including all the people who don’t pay any attention to politics).

Yup, this one definitely goes to Obama and I think it will have a very positive effect on his approval rating and fundraising efforts.

Obama is solidly in 2012 mode and the republicans are still gloating over 2010.

I have a prediction. Not only will Obama be re-elected in 2012, but the Democrats will take back the House, and add seats in the Senate. And all this due to Paul Ryan's push to end Medicare as we know it.

Based on the numbers, seniors who are 45 today would be looking at medical expenses of $3500 per month, out of their own pockets, for a married couple. This is on top of the amount the government would put towards their private policy. The average SS check would not cover this, let alone any other expenses. Basically, millions of seniors will be without medical coverage. The Republicans are opening up a can of worms that they are going to regret. Rather than trying to find sensible solutions, they want to push everything to the private sector where they know costs are going to skyrocket even more. Last of all, the insurance companies may not even want to participate. The amount they will need to charge in order to make any profit will be astronomical, and they know it.

I think middle America is finally going to wake up and get it, and the resulting backlash against Republicans is going to be severe. I could be wrong, but don't be surprised if we start seeing polls showing that over 75% of Americans are against this plan. All people really need do is look at the plan, and I don't see how anyone could be in favor of it. The plan does not save money. It only shifts the burden away from the federal government onto the individual at a much higher cost.

RELEASE: Ryan?s Budget Attempts to End Medicare and Shift Costs to Seniors

Good luck Republicans.

Well, this didn't take long, did it? I said 75% of Americans would be against this, and guess what? In two recent polls, 76% of respondents were against cuts in Medicare, and they haven't yet been asked about Ryan's proposal. Something tells me the polling numbers against Ryan's proposal will be even higher.

Most everyone that participates on this board, whether Democrat, Republican, Liberal, or Conservative, knows we need to make some long term cuts to Medicare. Selling Americans on the best way to do it will be key. Ryan's proposal is a bad proposal and it's not going to fly, so everyone better start working on a different idea, like maybe raising the retirement age.

Polls Show Opposition To Medicare Cuts, Uncertainty About Ryan Budget

One small problem. The economy will continue to deteriorate under Obama. He can't keep blaming someone else for it forever.

Currently it is next to impossible to sell investment property or any property unless you just want to unload it. Rich are getting richer taking properties off the hands of motivated sellers by waving cash deals at them. Banks aren't lending like they used to. It's difficult to refinance these days. Folks that don't own property or do business in Real Estate aren't aware of how much it has gone downhill since 08', and there is no end to it in sight.

This is not because of Bush. New banking regulations that Obama signed are scaring the piss out of lenders. What scares them the most is everyone is still trying to figure out the rules, and the uncertainty of a dishonest President doesn't help the situation.

I read it and watched most of it.

It was just meant to pull you back into the fold.

He's playing this game, trying to appear normal, trying to act like he gives a fuck, act like a moderate, like he's reasonable. Then he pulls something like this to bring you and those like you back to his side. It's just a game, and the funny thing is nobody really knows what game he's playing or who he's playing.

Fact is he's playing us all for a bunch of suckers. I kept asking myself just how stupid does he think we are????

Obviously from the left's response......Pretty damned stupid.

Muddy is just damned pathetic, folks. Whenever neocons can't logically or factually disprove or refute a fact or information that destroys their mantras and talking points, they create their own narrative. Note that Muddy does NOT deal with the content of what the President says, but rather Muddy just rambles on with some BS worthy of Mike Levine or Savage or Beck. Muddy just can't handle the FACT that America is waking up to the BS of the neocon/teabagger agenda...and they don't like it. In the next voting cycle, more people are going to vote...and that won't bode well for Muddy's tunnel vision of America. I leave Muddy to his babblings.
