Given the absolute chaos within the House republican caucus, is it really any wonder why Obama has decided that to get ANYTHING done, executive orders may be the only way forward?

Seriously, right wingers, would any of you finally admit that the House GOP membership has no clear intention of EVER sharing in their governing duties?

Oh, I saw this thread and thought it was about Hillary's antics and blatantly illegal activities...

My bad....

Yes, the job of Republicans is to get their act together and implement socialism or they aren't doing their job and Obama has every right to bypass the Constitution. I see your point

Well, dimwit, the Constitution is silent on executive orders (if that is your slam on Obama) AND when congress allows an order that they disagree with to stand, the members of congress are VIOLATING their oath of office.

By the way, what EXACTLY has Obama done that is deemed "socialistic"???? (You know, something rather than what the great constitutional lawyer, Sean Hannity, telling you what to spew.

If you have an answer, by all means tell us.

Things get tough so you just want to chuck the Republic and take the dictatorship option, huh? I wonder how you're going to feel about that choice when there's a Republican in the Oval Office, I suspect you won't be a happy camper.

"Be careful of what you wish for, you might just get it"

Are you trying to suggestion that you believe that there will never be another Republican in the Oval Office?
Highly unlikely, if all they ever do when they can't get their way is attempt to defund the government and the military. Where are you going to find a majority willing to be governed by that group of Bozos?

Yes....you seem sooooooooo oppressed under this "dictatorship"......having to type your stupid response from some concentration camp.......I DO feel for your plight.

Republicans have formed a circular firing squad

Obama just has to stay clear of it

As Texas and Florida gain minority voters which will deny electoral votes for a right wing president......YES, you will NOT see a republican in the oval office for a couple of decades.

Uh-huh, and you accuse the Republicans of not being able to separate reality from fantasy? You ought to go do some research on the history of the Presidency in modern times, I think you'll find that it suggests a strong probability of a Republican in the Oval Office in 2017, if the Democrats buck the odds in 2016 it's almost a certainty in some not to distant Presidential election, so if I were you I would prepare myself for that probability so that you don't get incredibly disappointed when it comes to pass.

Alternatively you could just keep your fingers crossed and hope.... whichever makes you most comfortable.

That's the problem with the Republicans, they can't separate reality from fantasy! :laugh2:

There won't be one in 2016, and that isn't a suggestion. It is fact. Oh that's right, facts are irrelevant to nutters. Nevermind.

I actually think it is possible I will never see another Republican President in my lifetime

George Bush struggled to barely crack 270 electoral votes. He needed a near sweep of swing states to do it. Those swing states have moved farther to the left in recent voting and Democrats already start with 242 electoral votes before the first vote is cast

Add in the potential loss of Florida (now) and Texas (eventualy) and Republicans will have no path to the Whitehouse

That's the spirit.. enthusiastically embrace your hopes and prayers right up to the point where reality comes and smacks you right across the face. :)

Meanwhile back here on Earth.....

Guess it's clear that the republicans are the cause of the gridlock . They can't compromise with themselves , what chance does Obama have wh them .

The cause of gridlock is the design of the Republic not the Republicans, you want to get rid of gridlock call a constitutional convention otherwise just get used to it and try to see the upside (at least they are passing fewer BAD laws than normal).

NONE.......these tea sipping right wingers in the House, would fight Obama over the existence of gravity.

Once again, you have nothing, huh, Nat? Just a "funny?"

You're ONLY hope, is that they might be enough dumb voters (like you) to re-elect the same right wing morons in congress whose only real job there is to do NOTHING.
