And Drock said the lone politician he supports has an approval rating of 84%.
That is the problem with politics today. We are NOT to have a high approval rating of our politicians.
That is why nothing gets done. Politicians give society the farm to get the highest approval from the citizens.
We need SOME TOUGH LOVE now, not running government to make everyone and their brother happy.

Hey Goose, respectfully, let me appeal to your reason and common sense which I believe you have a lot of:
Do you care how popular you are in your network of friends and professionally? Do many of the decisions that you make in all of those networks popular amongst a large majority or even a majority of everyone?
And isn't the fact that Obama is so popular proof that we do too much to too many in the terms of a free ride and that is why Obama is popular?
Wouldn't you rather have someone that makes the hard decisions that are unpopular and ignored by politicians that want to be popular instead of making the hard choices?

You are wrong on this. There are far too many people that want to work than there are jobs in this nation. Supporting citizens who have fallen on hard times because of the economic collapse created by the very wealthy is hardly something to be denigrated. When you have a mortgage, children, and both your job and that of your spouse has disappeared, you are in a hurting position.

President Obama would like nothing better than seeing the unemployment rate drop rapidly. As would every American that cares about our nation. You may disagree with his methods, but we had the GOP in from 2001 to 2009, and the results were catastrophic.
