I think we were all outraged by the Obama administration trying to stop the execution of Leal, an illegal alien in Texas for the rape, mutilation and death of a teen age girl. The slaughter of Americans by illegal aliens is the result of open borders. Since biblical times, it has been the duty of a nation's rulers to safeguard its boundaries, but lately, this responsibility has become a tragic joke. Clinton, the Bush-Chaney gang, and now Obama are all responsible for our unsecured borders which allow illegal aliens, foreign solders, terrorists and their military equipment free access into and out of this country. The Bush-Chaney gang could defend themselves by pleading they passed "The Patriot Act"; but, Obama will be left high and dry unless he does something. He may be a candidate for impeachment for dereliction of presidential duty under the Prize Cases, a little remembered Supreme Court decision that was handed down during the darkest hours of our Civil War. "A state of actual war may exist without any formal declaration of it by either party, and this is true of both a civil and a foreign war in which the President is bound to meet it in the shape it presented itself." The Prize Cases, 67 US 635 (1863).
