That same year she received the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) Roger Baldwin Medal of Liberty Award; and the Eugene V. Debs Foundation Outstanding American Award, and the Ellis Island Medal of Freedom Award. She is also the recipient of the Consumers’ Union Trumpeter’s Award. In 1998 she was one of three Ms. Magazine’s, "Women of the Year", and the Ladies Home Journal’s, "100 Most Important Women of the 20th Century".

I am well aware of her biography, (she is a member of the democratic socialists party, you are free to read their website and be sure to check their affiliates.) I posted her co –founding and I also posted, which is most important, her apparent apostasy ala her relationship and years of working with Chavez ( as in helping build the UFW) to improve the migrants lot, which DID NOT include illegal alien intervention, far from it, it is inherently destructive to migrants themselves.

Now, the ads are the ads, you explain them, she is shilling for the Laobor dept. , its right there, ignore it if you wish but it won't go away nor does it make it untrueand I never said she was paid, I agreed that she is a shill.

You seem impressed with credentials and awards and all that jazz, well, that cuts both ways, just because she seems to have an impressive bio. means squat, Obama has ‘impressive' creds, so did Bush…so what?

For one, it’s not obvious to me that she is talking to students. Is this another Shirley Sherrod?

Second, she isn’t talking about Chavez political policies.

She is talking about Doctors and clinics for poor people and creating jobs.

Shoes and clothes for children.

Farms to feed the people.

Making Dentists available.

And what are Republicans talking about in this country?

The unemployed need to “sober up” and go get a job?

If you “feed the poor they’ll BREED”?

Vietnam Vets suffering from Agent Orange are a “drag” on America?

The best way to fight a message you don’t like is with one you do. What is the Republican message? Send American jobs to communist China to build up their economy? Spend money building Iraq because they hate our guts?

This is control? Name a single piece of meaningful legislation that passed during those two years. So was that a lie or just stupid?

Republicans have called the unemployed bellyache-rs, told them to "sober up and go get a job". Republican Lt Gov Andre Bauer said, "The poor are like animals. If you feed them they'll breed".

Name a single thing Republicans have done for the middle class or the poor for the last 10 years.
