Obama kills terrorists he is God. Bush waterboarded a couple and he was the devil?

What the hell is wrong with you people.

Well Obama did not kill any one. He made no part in any of the planning or preparations. He only said yes at the right time. He was just there at the right time and that's about it. I also dont understand the water boarding thing. I mean under Obama, more haji's have been flat out tortured then were water boarded under Bush.

Points of fact:
Not all of the people detained at Gitmo were or are terrorists. Many have been interrogated and released from Gitmo. Several of those have said waterboarding was part of their interrogation.
Waterboarding is consider torture and torture of POWs is not allowed under the Geneva Convention
Obama has taken out far more terrorists leaders in three years what GWB was able to take out in seven years so he is a far more effective president in this regard than GWB

How did I screw up?

Obama gets praised, Bush got condemned. The analogy in the thread title fits perfectly. It's just a shame your too shallow to admit it.

You said, and I quote: "Obama kills terrorists he is God". Now, I ask again, who has been calling Obama God?

Still waiting for your answer.

You will be waiting awhile I'm done playing semantics with hacks.

Ah, so you don't back your OWN words. That is a good thing to know for future reference. Thanks.

Let's see.

Did President Obama disband the "Bin Laden Working Group", the specific group tasked with tracking and locating Bin Laden...Nope that was the shrub and dick(less) Former Deserter-in-Chief and Former V.P. and Draft Dodger.

Did President Obama allow Bin Laden to escape capture in the Tora Bora Mountains.....Nope, yet another credit the shrub and dick(less).

Did President Obama sign a Treaty with Pakistan that gave "Safe Haven" to Bin Laden in Pakistan...nope, another credit to the shrub and dick(less).

Did President Obama ever say, "I really don't think about him that much" (him being Bin Laden)....nope that was the deserter-in-chief georgie porgie himself.

And last but not least.

IF this event had happened under the shrub, dick(less) or grampy mcsame, you know that right now you would be cheering.

Fucking nitwit.

What the hell is wrong with you people.

Get your head out of your butt and see the entire picture. Bush attacked a country that was not threat, has no WMDs, had nothing to do with 911 and 6,000 American troops were sacrificed, million of innocent Iraqi men, women and children were blown to bits by US bombs. His cronnies Halliburton and Blackwater made billions billing the US government, people, $26 for a paper plate. Did not get the oil. Billions not accounted for. Destroy a historical country. Cause of the unstability in the Middle East.
There has to be a special place in hell for Bush.

Obama did not get Qaddaffi, UN troops did. Or maybe it was Libyan rebels. Who gives a shit the evil dictator is gone. And Bush is gone.:clap2:
Water boarding is torture and is illegal and invading a soverign nation is illegal. Bush and Cheney should be in Gitmo awaiting trial for war crimes.
Iraq DID have WMDs.

The left can say there were none all they want, but that doesn't make it true.

Technically the chemicals they found in about 500 artillary shells could be used in a WMD, but certainly they could not be used in the condition they were found in. You can call them WMD all you want but they do not represent a fraction what the WH was claiming Iraq had. As you will recall the accusation from the WH were that Iraq was actively producing and stockpiling new chemical and biological weapons and had a active nuclear program. None of which were true. The president was even breifed by the head of the CIA in Sept of 2002 that Saddam had no working WMD programs. Congress did not get that same breifing before it voted for authorizing the president with the power to decide.

Obama has don nothing but reap the benefits of intelligence gathered by men and woman in the military and various intelligence and law enforcement agency's. He can not take credit for anything other then saying "yes" and watching it on TV. And if you really want to get down to brass tacks, real "school of the Americas" type shit is going down on his watch. See, he never closed the secret "CIA" jails if they ever existed, and the little haji's are still being dropped of in other country's where they can be "questioned" properly.

Of course we know Saddam had chemical weapons. Ronnie Rayguns gave them to his pal in the 80's...

Torture as policy is un-American, and counterproductive. Boooosh was a total catastrophe.

They were very dangerous as they were found. Plenty dangerous to be WMDs.

So, the claim that Iraq had no WMDs is a false one.

And, every time the claim is made, I show that it is false.

The claim that what was found and the amounts described pre-invasion are different, is a true claim.

First off, the policy of torturing the haji's was Bill Clintons, expanded by Bush, and continued by Obama.

U.S. Says Rendition to Continue, but With More Oversight

WASHINGTON — The Obama administration will continue the Bush administration’s practice of sending terrorism suspects to third countries for detention and interrogation, but pledges to closely monitor their treatment to ensure that they are not tortured, administration officials said Monday.

Extraordinary Rendition Obama | Obama preserves renditions as counter-terrorism tool - Los Angeles Times

Under executive orders issued by Obama recently, the CIA still has authority to carry out what are known as renditions, secret abductions and transfers of prisoners to countries that cooperate with the United States.

That last quote was a paragraph or two down. Just out of curiosity, is it ok to abduct un-uniformed combatants off of the field of battle under the Geneva accords ?

Indeed, Sadam mass murdered his own people with them. And of course the left also forgets he violated the terms of the cease fire in 19 different ways. So the resumption of hostilities was completely justified despite the wmd controversy.

Iraq also used chemical weapons against Iran in their war. What did the Administration do? Why they sent Rummy to get all chummy with Saddam.

No one on the left should forget that the Raygun Administration supported Saddam's war against Iran with tax-payer backed loans (4 billion) and took Iraq off the nations who support terrorist list. Made them a valued trading partner and allowed allied companies from all over the western world to sell duel use technology (with state department approval). Furthermore, they were able to buy pre-cursor chemicals (mostly European) and stocks of biological weapons (from the US). Back then it was true, he has large stockpiles and was producing Chemcial weapons and he had a nuclear program unknown to his benefactors in the US. All that ended in 1991. His nuclear project was destroyed and mostly all of the chemical and biological weapons were destroyed. 500 or so shells that were found dated to this period of time. Iraq was no longer producing chemical or biological weapons. It no longer had a nuclear program. President Bush was breifed by the CIA director with this information in Sept 2002 but didn't let Congress know what the CIA told him. So technically the chemicals in the shell could be incorportated into a new WMD but in the state they were found in they were not a viable threat.

Resuption of hostilities based on the UN Cease-Fire Agreement required a new resolution from the UN.

Anything else?

They totured the captives to create the intell they wanted so they could justify a war built on lies.

Torture does not work.

It gives you bad intell.

They wanted bad intell

....and somehow. the INTEL for Obama to get bin Laden did not involve any captured enemy combatants experiencing some discomfort also known as "torture" when Bush was at the helm?
