Gun control makes sense. If President Obama has the balls to push gun control, more power to him. It is the right thing to do.

How does gun control make sense? Almost everywhere there is a lot of gun control there is more gun violence. Take D.C. for an example:

* During the years in which the D.C. handgun ban and trigger lock law was in effect, the Washington, D.C. murder rate averaged 73% higher than it was at the outset of the law, while the U.S. murder rate averaged 11% lower.[37]

How did this so called 'gun control' make sense? Once the ban was lifted the murder rate went down dramaticly.

I don't think that Obama could get a serious gun control bill passed, even if that's what he wanted to do.

The most he could do is some watered down useless bill like the Brady Bill - and that would be a huge victory for him, and definitely get him points towards his re-election.

But I doubt that will happen either.

More guns are held by private citizens than all the US Armed Forces combined.......in multiples.
