NOONAN: OBAMA BECOMING ‘CREEPY’ « Pat Dollard

The shift started on Jan. 20, with the mandate that agencies of the Catholic Church would have to provide services the church finds morally repugnant. The public reaction? "You're kidding me. That's not just bad judgment and a lack of civic tact, it's not even constitutional!" Faced with the blowback, the president offered a so-called accommodation that even its supporters recognized as devious. Not ill-advised, devious. Then his operatives flooded the airwaves with dishonest—not wrongheaded, dishonest—charges that those who defend the church's religious liberties are trying to take away your contraceptives.

What a sour taste this all left. How shocking it was, including for those in the church who'd been in touch with the administration and were murmuring about having been misled.

Events of just the past 10 days have contributed to the shift. There was the open-mic conversation with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev in which Mr. Obama pleaded for "space" and said he will have "more flexibility" in his negotiations once the election is over and those pesky voters have done their thing. On tape it looked so bush-league, so faux-sophisticated. When he knew he'd been caught, the president tried to laugh it off by comically covering a mic in a following meeting. It was all so . . . creepy.

This was BEFORE we learned that obama has basically been an Iranian spy.

Truth isn't part of the OP's agenda.

Something's happening to President Obama's relationship with those who are inclined not to like his policies. They are now inclined not to like him. His supporters would say, "Nothing new there," but actually I think there is. I'm referring to the broad, stable, nonradical, non-birther right. Among them the level of dislike for the president has ratcheted up sharply the past few months.

This is dead on. Describes me and how I have felt about Obama to a T. I have never liked his policies, but respected him as President. However, I have recently begun to dislike the man himself on a personal level. And it started with his blatant attack on religion.

Damn, that woman is almost psychic!

What do you expect?
Seriously.
He is an immature man with a chip on his shoulder like most progressives.
You worked hard for years to build a business and you start reaping the rewards of those sacrifices? --- You got your money obviously on the backs of the poor and we should take some of it back.
Religion? --- An institution with too many freedoms that need to be reigned in.
Wall Street Banks? --- Publicly speak out against them, on the job - give them anything they want like the past 4 Presidents.
Cronyism? --- Something conservatives do. Our special interests have a moral high-ground so therefore it is not cronyism.
Education --- Whatever the NEA recommends.

Please feel free to add your own.

The White House cleared the way for tough new sanctions on Iran Friday, saying a cutoff of Iranian oil wouldn't significantly harm world markets.

President Barack Obama said there was "sufficient supply of petroleum and petroleum products from countries other than Iran" to cushion the impact of sanctions on oil markets.

The move, which comes amid rising gas prices across the country, allows the U.S. to move forward with congressionally mandated sanctions that target financial institutions which continue to do business with Iran. The earlier legislation set Friday as a deadline for the White House to move to block the sanctions or to allow them.

In recent weeks, oil markets have factored in the possibility that looming sanctions on Iran might take a significant amount of oil off the global market. Obama administration officials have hinted in recent weeks that tapping the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve was a tool available to calm oil markets.

Creepy?

What's creepy about the sanctions is that he's using the sanctions just like he used the health care bill. He increased sanction AND at the same time handed out exemptions from the sanctions.

Iran Sanctions Exemptions Leave Room for Doubt About Obama’s Intentions « Commentary Magazine

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton announced today that the United States was granting exemptions to Japan and several European countries from sanctions that are intended to prevent the sale of Iranian oil.

Iranian oil.

If these exemptions really part of an integrated strategy aimed at tightening the noose around Iran’s economy then it is fair to say that President Obama is keeping his word to implement the sanctions Congress passed last year over his objections. However, it is worth noting that the administration has history of non-enforcement of sanctions on Iran as well as the possibility that such waivers will be used as a way to prolong negotiations with Iran over its nuclear program

This might be the creepiest of all!

Notice that neither China nor India, which are Iran's biggest oil customers are affected by the sanctions at all.

This is one more creepy indication of saying one thing and doing another that makes obama the creepiest president we ever had.

The European countries are "our friends", except when they do not go to war at our President's desire.

This President is very smart, politically astute for the most part, and has a winning smile.
Neither should his ability be underestimated nor should his menace to America.

Victory in November.

The article goes into a lot more detail about obama's various acts of creepyness which makes him not merely creepy, but chillingly creepy.
