Obama is Destroying The Democrat Party

Health Care. What unfolded with the Democrat Party and healthcare was the single most corrupt example of Big Government legislation of the modern era. Democrats running for reelection no longer mention Obamacare, and for good reason. Americans were deeply offended by how it came about, knowing a strong majority was against it, knowing the blatant political payoffs utilized to secure its passage, and still not knowing how the massive bill will ultimately impact them. It was government at its very worst.[\QUOTE]

Corrupt? Surely you are not putting down the corporate congress at this late date? Dems running for election are talking about improving health care and making it better. That is a message, and that is what they are saying. Americans who had no health coverage were not offended in the least. Whats so bad about the NHC that can't be changed to include all Americans? The foot in the door needs a new shoe.

You have no idea of gov. at its worst I see. I mean you are trying to compete with lies about WMDs, murder, torture, rape of innocent civilians. Geeze dude, you shouldn't get so emotionally caught up in NHC and hurl laughable quotes like at its worst! LMAO!!

Obama is, at his core, an elitist Democrat. The once-great Democrat Party was the party of the common person. A party ruled by interests in helping with a hand up, not simply a hand out. Now this same party is ruled by its hard-left base, and Obama is among them. The Union bosses who openly speak of the benefits of socialism. The jet-setting billionaires who speak out against the very free market that allowed them to get theirs, but now wish to prevent everyone else the same opportunity. The media elitists who simply refuse to acknowledge that Americans know better – they need to be told what is best for them because they are too stupid to figure it out for themselves. These figures are the ones responsible for creating the Obama image in 2008. These are the ones who pushed Hillary aside for a man they knew would be far easier to manipulate, and who more fully shared their far-left Big Government ideology. Americans are realizing they have been had – and they are none too happy about it.

Everything is coming up roses. Every step of the way Obama has set up the republicans for the November fall. Each step was carefully orchestrated for the fat lady to sing. Do you think the Party of NO & "Do whatever it takes," will escape unscathed on the NHC issue?

I recall the righty yahoos preaching death panels, and other crap that couldn't be found in the bill. And that is really bad for you, you see, because Obama can point that out and then question what else did republicans lie about, and make you look stupid and lose all credibility.

Then we have the Tea Party, taking the the hatchet to the RNC, splitting the few party members you had left after torturing people into several disjointed groups, a snake with no head or direction. Sad for you.

The last year as been politically catastrophic to Democrats. Here is why.

...Obama has repeatedly shown that the most important thing to Obama – is Obama. This is wearing thin on voters, who increasingly see the president as terribly self-centered, far more passionate about giving campaign mode speeches that garner him immediate applause than with the actual job of leading the nation as its president.

...Obama is destroying the Democrat Party. It will either rebuild itself in its former image, or it will fall away into the abyss of outright political parody. 1994 was a tough midterm election cycle for Democrats. November 2010 is going to be much-much worse. The American voter is very angry, and the Democrat Party deserves every bit of that anger.

well, Bush destroyed the republican party so i guess Obama is matching Bush's service to the nation.

The sooner those two parties are relegated to the dustbins of history the sooner our republic can take up where it left off.....in 1801.

GObama!

I am not fan of Democrats, but I have to disagree. People said that same thing about Bush, and what we are seeing now is re surgance of the Republican Party. Very soon after people thought Bush had all but killed it.

Being handed a massive defeat In November could very well motivate and charge the More Moderate forces in the Democrat Party to take back control from the FAR left that has controlled the party for the last 10 years or so.

That IMO would be a good thing for the Party and the country
.

I completely agree- the party has been hijacked by the most radical elements from within, and those same elements have cannabilized a once great political party...

Yep--the democrat party of today--doesn't even closely resemble the party of the 1960's and on. Since the late 1990's we have seen liberals jumping into power--like never before--and what even some in the senate (who have been there for decades)--the old dogs of the party--have been persuaded to join this insanity of socialism.

I agree that the tide will change--directly after November. You will see these big spending liberals that are left in the congress and senate--take a hard conservative note--just to save their butts in 2012--when they're up for re-election.

Another thing--after November I expect Hillary Clinton to suddenly resign from this administration.

yes they did and do.

and what we are seeing now is re surgance of the Republican Party.

Not by a long shot.

we are seeing a surgence of the tea party, who are not aligned with the gop. And we are seeing 78% of Americans who want term limits on congress critters. And we are seeing the favorability of both parties at historic lows.

The gop is dead. They don't have a base and they don't have a platform anybody will follow.

The good news is that Obama has done the same to the dems.

Really? I think she is considering such a move - but is still awaiting the formation of the political mood. It COULD happen - by may not...

Yep, I mean for gods sake today I am labeled a right wing loon and conservative but for MOST of my life I was a registered Democrat.

JFK was a great president and he would not be at home in today's Democrat Party. The man was pro life and a supply side economic believer. LOL how do you think that would go over in pelosi'sDem party.

If it does happen, You can count on one thing for sure. The far left and the Obama Admin will attempt to DESTROY her.
