Face it Democrats....your "hero of change" is just another scummy lying politician....or else he's just dumber than a box of rocks....not to mention that he aligns himself with anti-American people....but then, that's what you far left liberals are pushing for anyway, isn't it? I can hardly wait to hear how Obama is going to spin his lies in his speech tomorrow...

Obama is a Big Skinny Liar
March 16, 2008

Are Americans so stupid?

::::::::

To accept Obama's contention that he has just become aware of the many ludicrous, unpatriotic and insulting comments by his close friend and religious guide, the Reverent Wright, is to believe utter nonsense.

For this suspension of disbelief one must:

Assume that over many, many years Obama never actually heard any of the many sermons that included obscene comments.

Assume that in private conversations with Wright that Obama never heard any of these sentiments.

Assume that Obama never had any conversations with friends that also attended the same church, heard Wright's views and found the provocative beliefs worthy of conversations with Obama and his wife.

Assume that Obama's wife never independently heard about Wright's views and thought them important enough to talk about with Obama.

Assume that early in his current campaign no staffers, advisors or friends thought it important to bring up the nutty views of Wright to protect Obama from eventually facing media attention.

The only logical conclusion is that Obama is a big liar. Just another typical lying politician.

better strap in the seat belt, fellas.. you are heading for turbulence at the polls!

"McCain approves of Bush’s war in Iraq and has vowed to stay the course. Although he originally opposed Bush’s tax cuts, McCain now pledges to make them permanent.

He also supports the privatizing of Social Security, which would put the retirement system at risk and add to the current federal deficit. Seemingly willing to do anything to get elected, McCain has flip-flopped on many issues to court conservative voters.

America has suffered greatly under President Bush. We don’t need to continue the pain with a McCain administration."

And skinny yet? can you believe it!

This post from a Bush cheerleader a man whose philosopher is Jesus and yet bombs innocent people and whose only veto was against child care. I think your values are a bit skewed.

And your support of an obvious LIAR who associates with ANTI-AMERICANS is not skewed ?

I'll take a proven patriot for President any day over that.

Just which country are you from anyhow?

"McCain approves of Bush’s war in Iraq and has vowed to stay the course.
Given that we're winning, its the only logical thing to do.
After all...
"The failure of the Iraqi state would be a disaster. It would dishonor the 900-plus men and women who have already died. . . . It would be a betrayal of the promise that we made to the Iraqi people, and it would be hugely destabilizing from a national security perspective."
--Barack Hussein Obama, July 2004

Although he originally opposed Bush’s tax cuts, McCain now pledges to make them permanent.
Seems to me that not raising taxes in a recession is a good idea.

He also supports the privatizing of Social Security, which would put the retirement system at risk...
Certainly no more at risk than having a completely empty trust fund, with the boomers entering into retirements, and quite likely far less.

Seemingly willing to do anything to get elected, McCain has flip-flopped on many issues to court conservative voters.
So, if 'doing anything to get elected' is so bad, why do you ignore it when your guy does it?

America has suffered greatly under President Bush.
Only to partisan fools such as yourself.

Was Obama in attendance when the pastor said, “The government gives them the drugs, builds bigger prisons, passes a three-strike law and then wants us to sing 'God Bless America.' No, no, no, God damn America, that's in the Bible for killing innocent people," he said in a 2003 sermon. "God damn America for treating our citizens as less than human. God damn America for as long as she acts like she is God and she is supreme?"

Was Obama in attendance when the pastor said, “We bombed Hiroshima, we bombed Nagasaki, and we nuked far more than the thousands in New York and the Pentagon, and we never batted an eye?”

Was Obama in attendance when the pastor said, "We have supported state terrorism against the Palestinians and black South Africans, and now we are indignant because the stuff we have done overseas is now brought right back to our own front yards. America's chickens are coming home to roost?"

While Obama may have thought that his pastor spoke ‘kind of rough” some times, it does not mean that he heard such comments as “God Damn America”. Obama may have very well heard some things from the pastor that bordered on the outlandish. He may have had concerns with the pastor. Later, when people pointed out just how rough the pastor was on occasion (the “God Damn America” sermon), Obama denounced such comments.

There is no proof that he lied. I’m still waiting for proof. Without it, I’ll give Obama the benefit of the doubt. I give Obama the benefit of the doubt until I see absolute irrefutable proof to the contrary. Even if Obama lied, does that cause him to be beneath McCain? Has McCain ever behaved unethically? There is plenty of factual criticism against McCain.

Getting back to the “pastor” issue: The pastor’s quotes were cherry-picked by his opponents and broadcast to the world. It is an old trick. When the excerpts were carefully brought together, packaged, and brought to his attention, Obama denounced them. It is as simple as that.

Even if you can show me that Obama was in attendance when the pastor said those things that were collected and posted for all to see, I will say that Obama lied and I will say “Shame on Obama”. Still, he denounced such comments anyway. Above and beyond this “pastor debate”, does that mean that I will change my vote? No. Has McCain ever told a lie or participated in things that I oppose? The fact that Obama may have heard very outlandish things from his pastor is a minor issue. I will vote based on what positions the candidates hold on issues and what policies they have supported.

The conservative right will probably be sure to keep him (the pastor) in the public eye, even though Obama denounced the pastor’s rhetoric. I hope so. If this happens, I believe that the moderate undecided people will vote to Obama just to show spite fro your desperate petty ranting.

I prefer to judge a person on composite of many variables – not just on who his pal is or who his mentor is supposedly. What legislation has Obama signed? What are his positions on the issues? What are his specific plans for the future? I have heard conservatives say that they have enough knowledge about a candidate if that candidate would allow abortions. I do not subscribe to such a limiting litmus test.

As I see it, if the Republicans keep brining up the pastor, moderates will vote for Obama of sympathy or out of spite for the Republicans for harping on the issue. Obama already denounced the pastor’s rhetoric, yet the right wing just won’t let it go. Perhaps they think that it is the only thing that they have left: These desperate, practically insignificant petty fallacious attacks - for your own sake, let it go already.

Hmm....privatizing Social Security really, well I suggest you read the Social Securtiy, Medicare and Medicaid thread it would seem that something has to be done. That's unless you just want to bury your head in the sand.

MCcain actually thought back when the tax cuts were up for a vote that the middle class should have been given deeper tax cuts. Now he's in favor of the tax cuts because if they are not extended then it will be an effective tax raise, which I am sure is needed in a downturn in the economy.

We don't need a socialist to create 800 billion dollars in new spending. When social programs already consume 56 % of the national budget.

It's called a right-wing smear campaign. You must be used to it by now; it does happen every election cycle...

Yeah, the right wing made Dr. Racist Wright say "God Damn America". The right wing made Obama keep Racist Wright on his staff for over 6 months when he knew what type of racist he was.

You guys must really be terrified of him....

And I guess to you only the white repubs in the senate are allowed to be millionaires.

I am, the country doesnt need a America-hating liberal racist as president. Add to the fact the guy has zero experience and shouldnt be the one to have his hand on the button.

After having pretty much the stupidest human being in the history of the presidency in the white house the past 7 years, you really have no standing to complain about anyone the dems nominate.

The only one who hates America is ... you and your ilk. You hate people who disagree with you so try to trash them any way possible.

What a bunch of sick, ameri-haters you psycho righties are.
