these are some pretty great ads and while I know most people hate campaign ads these really bring the point into focus

Nicely produced videos, but Obama is not known for reaching across the aisle and communicating with the other side. You don't become the most liberal member of the Senate by being bipartisan.

Obama voted in favor of the Energy Policy Act of 2005 and cosponsored the Secure America and Orderly Immigration Act.[58] In September 2006, Obama supported a related bill, the Secure Fence Act.[59] Obama introduced two initiatives bearing his name: Lugar–Obama, which expanded the Nunn–Lugar cooperative threat reduction concept to conventional weapons,[60] and the Coburn–Obama Transparency Act, which authorized the establishment of USAspending.gov, a web search engine on federal spending.[61] On June 3, 2008, Senator Obama, along with Senators Thomas R. Carper, Tom Coburn, and John McCain, introduced follow-up legislation: Strengthening Transparency and Accountability in Federal Spending Act of 2008.[62]

I wonder if Obama feels that the whites featured in the ads are menacing?

So the Republican mantra is to find a black man that will scare white suburbanites. They do it in every election. The problem is that America is more diverse and more sophisticated than it was in the past, and this strategy is failing.

You can keep trying it, but I don't think it will work. It's like the boy who cried wolf. After a while no one believes you.

See the previous post it's in his own voice and from his own book.

I liked the third one too. A little cornball, but nothing wrong with that.

The second one is a bit over the top. Its kind of cheesy when modern politicians try to compare themselves to Lincoln or Jefferson. I always kind of cringe when I see that.

Pretty good overall, nice and positive. Not inflammatory or negative.
