Obama holds 7-point lead over Romney

Republicans may not be too worried by these simplistic polls. Actual voting may be a different matter. When it comes to actual voting many states and voting precints have devised a number of tactics to keep Democrats from voting. The ID thing is only one tactic, good luck Democrats when you go to vote.

With all the fawning and the adulation of the liberal media for Obama. With scant reporting of all the scandals in his administration, Obama is barely ahead.

Well within the margin of error at any given time.

Rasmussen has Romney up 4 points and that's with huge amounts of negative press against him and vicious lying advertisements.

And Romney is outraising Obama for months in a row now. This is going to be a great race.

Let's look at it from this perspective; if the Republicans had a likable candidate, he/she would be up by ten points right now. Incumbents of bad economies don't fare well, yet Obama is holding a fairly decisive lead at the moment. This should tell you that Romney is not a good candidate, for whatever reason.

Too funny dickless, it is a 3 point lead in the RCP average....quote a real source...did you ever prove that you had stopped beating your wife?

Let's quote a real source like Fox News who has Obama up 9 points. Romney is in trouble at the moment. That doesn't mean things can't change, but right now, Romney has a lot of ground to make up.

The problem for Romney is this reinforces the image of him as the loser with the voters.

Both polls show the independents breaking for Obama. People just don't like or trust Mitt.

the Real Campaign begins after Labour Day ... the Supreme Court gave the Summer to Obama.

This is certainly great news. Especially how Romney is taking a pounding from independents, where 86% believe his policies favor the rich.

CNN Poll: Obama holds 7-point lead over Romney – CNN Political Ticker - CNN.com Blogs

Mitt Romney's unfavorable rating is up, most Americans think the Republican presidential challenger favors the rich, and it appears the number of people who believe that the economy will not get better if Romney is elected has edged up slightly, according to a new national poll.

...

"Among independent voters, the poll indicates President Obama has a 53%-42% lead," CNN Polling Director Keating Holland said. "The president holds a nine point advantage among women voters and a smaller six point edge among men."

Great news indeed!

This is going to be better than 08. Can't wait.

I don't think Obama will carry all of the states he won in 2008 but the right wing nut reaction is what will make this election better than that one. All but the most polically illiterate, even right wing nuts, knew that Dems were going to win the White House in 2008 but the nutters were also declaring him a one-termer, dead in the water, etc from the very day he took office. They expected to win this time around and boy are they going to be all kinds of butthurt when Obama hands Romney his ass with a bow on it in November.

I'm not surprised that Obama is leading, and I won't be surprised when Obama wins re-election. I have predicted he would since he was elected the first time.

After all,you can't fix stupid.
