Obama hits..... 49% approval

The policies and programs that President Obama has started are only beginning to have an effect. Thus far, the effects are positive. Should they continue in this manner, his polls will be in good shape by fall of 2010. Should the economy dramatically improve, and a health bill is passed that creates a system that covers all Americans immediatly, 2010 will look like 2008 again for the Party of No.

Regardless of polls, the economy, the wars....Obama's biggest advantage is he gets to run against whatever stiff the republicans manage to come up with

I guess the change Obama had in mind wasn't the same as the American people, ya think?

(Rasmussen Reports)
Overall, 49% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President's performance. Fifty-one (51%) disapprove.

:dig: Obama & da Democrats

Which is still 30+ % points above Bush, and look at EVERYTHING Obama has on his plate. Bush did nothing besides fearmonger and push for more war while he was in office.

Well the problem with that is that it is an assessment of Bush's popularity after he walked a Centrist line for 8 years... in effect you're comparing apples to oranges... sure... it's fruit, but a distinct fruit indeed.

What's called for is a comparison of Bush popularity during the same period of his Presidency... in late September of 2001 GW Bush had a popularity 86% which is 37% above that of the BOY King... The Marxist-Muslim King Barak Hussein Obama of the US... watcher of all; protector of the down-troddin and his keeper of his own black ass.

Economy, Iraq Weighing Down Bush Popularity: Questionnaire - Pew Research Center for the People & the Press

Now FTR; and to be fair... September 2001 was a period of great emergency for the US; as is the state of the State in September 2009; if you tend towards believing King Hussein and his propaganda ministry... so the periods are comparable in most respects; showing President GW Bush, being VASTLY more popular than the Marxist Muslim King Hussein.

Wow....how profound!

George Bush rode 86% popularity after 9-11 all the way down to 27% . How badly do you have to screw the pooch to accomplish that?

Meanwhile, Marxist Muslim King Hussein sits at 54% and will finish with an approval rating above 50%.

I guess it just goes to show that Americans prefer a Marxist Muslim over a Bush Republican

Yes, unemployment is continuing to go up and business confidence is down. Meanwhile the European economies are in full recovery mode.
Whatever Obama does in Afghanistan is sure to cost him popularity. WHEN (not if) his health care debacle fails to pass, and his climate change boondoggle dies he will look like the political weakling he actually is and will be red meat for whomever the GOP chooses. That's assuming the Dems don't dump him in the meantime, which looks likely.
I mean, when the president of France looks like a forceful advocate of democracy compared to the US president things are pretty bad.

Impeach the fraud!!! Traitor!! Hater of the usa!! Non citizen muslim commie!! He has an evil look in his eyes, his husband mitch also!!! Very scary!! Perp walk for this fucking loser and his shitcago commie thugs!! Get him out now!!!!

Hmmmmmm....it seems the Rabbis crystal ball is a bit cloudy.

By every economic projection, the worst recession in 70 years is ending. The index of leading economic indicators is UP for the fifth straight month, housing starts are UP, production is UP, Stock Market is UP 20% since Obama took office and UP 43% since the stimulus passed. Unemployment which had risen 4% in the last few months of Bush rose an additional 2% under Obama and has stabilized

Healthcare will pass and republicans will be on the outside looking in. Americans will realize that all the gloom and doom forcast by the republicans did not come to pass.

Afghanistan will ramp up and then see a drawdown prior to the 2012 election. Both Afghanistan and Iraq will be non-issues in 2012

Dream on pal.

NEW YORK – Americans' worries about job security flared up in September, causing a widely watched barometer of consumer confidence to fall unexpectedly and raising more concern about the upcoming holiday shopping season.

The New York-based Conference Board, a private research group, said that its Consumer Confidence Index dipped to 53.1 in September, down from the revised 54.5 reading in August. Economists surveyed by Thomson Reuters had expected a reading of 57.

Obama hits 49% on Rasmussen? Is that supposed to be significant? Rasmussen had him at 45% a month ago.

Was that your point? His improvement over the last month?

Holy cow Rabbi! Someone might get the impression you are rooting for the economy to fail!

Home prices improve for third straight month - Real estate- msnbc.com

NEW YORK - Home prices rose for the third month in a row, a closely watched index said Tuesday.

The Standard & Poor's/Case-Shiller home price index of 20 major cities rose 1.2 percent from June to a reading of 143.05. Though home prices are still 13.3 percent below July a year ago, the annual declines have slowed in all 20 cities for the sixth straight month.

The index is down about 33 percent from the peak in mid-2006. Home prices are now at levels not seen since the third quarter of 2003. And prices in Las Vegas, Detroit and Seattle are still falling on a monthly basis.

Stock Market UP 43% since Obama passed the stimulus
Leading Economic Indicators UP five consecutive months

Can you actually bother yourself to get facts instead of talking out your butt?
Check Rasmussen. On 8/29 it was 40% strongly disapprove and 50% disapprove vs today's 38% strongly disapprove and 50% disapprove.
So he hasn't been making any friends. Meanwhile opposition to health care continues to climb.

So what does hitting 49% have to do with anything? WTF are you talking about? He was lower on Rasmussen before. And Rasmussen's polls are outliers anyhow. How many times do you people have to have that explained to you? Are you fucking ineducable?

No, obviously you are though if you can't tell the difference between 45 and 50.

As much as I hate to admit it, (stiff) there is an element of confounding truth in what you say.
