Obama got his ass kicked and Chris Mathews (tingley leg guy) says so.

Obama gets slaughtered by Mitt Romney. This race is already over. CNN polled it at 67% Romney--23% Obama after the debate.

But when Chris Mathews of MSNBC--(the tingley leg guy and Jimmy Carter's former speech writer) goes into a total meltdown--the Obama campaign needs to call flight for life.

Well summed up oreo...it's clearly all over.
I, for one, am concentrating on Christmas now.

Well, if Chris lost that tingly feeling and a CNN poll doesn't call the election for Obama, maybe we should go ahead and vote after all.

Now that Obama knows what he's in for in a debate with the Mittster, he might find time to prepare next time no matter how much of a drag it is. I hope Romney is ready to take it to the next level and not assume that Obama will be as lame next time.

The VP debate ought to be good. Biden can't manage to get through a two minute conversation with a reporter without jamming his foot in his mouth. He has got to be a huge concern for the Obama campaign. The gaffe meter will be off the charts.

Laughing at the "Flight for life" comment. Priceless.

CNN had a focus group of 39 people watching the debate who were all undecided or on the fence. After watching the debate, approximately 2/3 said Romney won the debate and 1/3 thought Obama won the debate. When asked if the debate persuaded them toward one of the two candidates, out of the 39, 16 of them said they were now leaning toward one of the candidates, and the rest were still undecided. Of the 16 that were persuaded toward one of the candidates, 8 are now leaning toward Romney and 8 are leaning toward Obama.

This may well be much like the 2004 debates when Kerry won all three debates, but it didn't change anything in the trajectory of the race. Guess we'll see how the polling numbers look after the weekend.

33 days to election day. Plenty of time for Romney to say stupid things.
