There are only about 500,000 or less left in the federal system hired before 1983 who did not pay into Social Security. This includes many of the senior management of Social Security, do NOT pay into the system they run. Nice gig. Millions and millions already retired without contributing. The bulk of government workers who do not pay are state and local government workers from numerous states, and growing.

No Democrat will touch this issue, and no Republican cares about Social Security enough to right this wrong, or fix it.

So here we are, stuck in a system millions of Democrats fought hard to avoid.

Obama and his friends that passed his Obamacare will solve the problem with social security by killing all the elderly with no services and death panels and changing the age to collect benifits to 75 years or more to the young back to the origional ponzi scheme that it was when created. This Obamacare system will be a total disaster and everyone invovled in it will feel the effects. Name one program that the government provides that is well run, not full of fraud and corruption and broke!!!! Now guess why all the senators and congressmen excluded themselves and families and aids from this system.

The fact that we'r ediscussing it is a good thing. The next step is for the DC whores to actually DO SOMETHING to extend SS & Medicare. My preference is to include all new state and fed and ALL persons in the US. Next, if you don't pay-in you don't get benefits. Non-citizens don't get anything, no they have no rights, they're illegal.

Not all non-citizens are illegals, of course.

The choices are fairly well known: cut benefits or increase taxes.
Personally I would opt for cutting benefits, increasing the retirement age to 67-68 with full benefits at 70. People pay into the system for fewer years in part because more people are going to college, delaying entering the job market.
