Does anyone remember the reason why we couldn't vote for Palin because she was a religious nut? She dared to attend church every weekend. She dared to utter her beliefs in public.

It seems that Obama is not repeating the same stuff that disqualified Palin/McCain from reaching the white house.

Did Obama say god told him to build a pipeline Invade iraq or anything?

If so I will rank him with the other religio nutz.

No....we didn't vote for McCain/Palin because McCain would have just been a continuation of Bush's failed policies, and Palin, well, she was just a bimbo.

Ironic that using God as a political booster can come back to bite those same people in the ass isn't it.

Happy 35th, 'God Bless America'

Begining of article----"Thirty-five years ago today, something remarkable happened: A U.S. President concluded a major address with the words "God bless America." Today, that would not be a big deal. At the time, however, it was unprecedented. In fact, it was the first time in modern history that it had happened."

Ending of article----"Used sparingly, the words "God bless America" would have to be taken as a serious theological proposition. Instead, like Nike's "Just Do It" or any other ubiquitous catchphrase in American culture, the words eventually lose their meaning. Today, "God bless America" has become the Pennsylvania Avenue equivalent to the taglines of Madison Avenue."

You really are that stupid.

Palins exact quote. The video is available on the web as well.

"God's will has to be done in unifying people and companies to get that gas line built, so pray for that,"

It's come to mean the same as "Ready? Begin...." just before the Pledge.

And what the people of Alaska wanted had nothing to do with that decision?
