Obama get very warm welcome to the house

one should note that just because one has been sued for malpractice does not mean that he has in fact committed malpractice. that's a kneejerk libtard response.

Not really:

Three years later, another Boustany patient, Delila Hays, sued him after complications arising from an angioplasty which resulted in the amputation of several toes, according to documents. The medical panel didn't rule on the case but an unspecified settlement was paid out after mediation, the documents show. . [Delila Hays and Charles Hays v. Dr. David Baker, M.D., Lafayette General Medical Center, Dr. Guillory, Dr. Charles Boustany, Case Number: 95-0836]

Demonize those with whom you disagree with, Saul would be proud .......:eusa_whistle:

yeah think of all the thugs Obama has associated with and the Left has defended him.

Frivolous law suits are a way of hitting life's lottery in America.

when he explains those things satisfactorily I may listen to what he has to say.

You'd never listen to what he had to say ever.

I'd be interested if you can say one thing that he has ever said that you even agree with slightly (besides God Bless America).

Careful with that brush of yours Elvis, you haven't seen me defend him on plenty of topics. Besides, only 39% of Americans are even somewhat Liberal on social issues.

American Thinker: Still the Biggest Missing Story in Politics

ONLY FORTY TWO PERCENT (42%) of Democrats describe themselves as BOTH social and fiscal Liberals.

What about Obama's own political party, the Democrats? Only forty-two percent of Democrats are both social liberals and fiscal liberals. Perhaps more amazing, twenty-three percent of Democrats, almost one in four, describe themselves as both social conservative and fiscal conservative. Forty-seven percent of Democrats describe themselves as fiscal conservatives, and thirty-four percent of Democrats describe themselves as social conservatives. Fifty-eight percent of Democrats consider themselves either a fiscal conservative or a social conservative or both.

So it's not the Liberals you need to be looking at here.

To me, the rebuttal made me feel as if he hadn't even listened to the speech.

They didn't, it seemed that way the last time too. I just think the Republicans follow the same old mantra: Blame the Democrats for everything, and ignore what was actually said in these speeches.

Heck, I went to the website he mentioned, everything he mentioned "live" was already up there. So it's obvious that the rebuttal was a farce, and just previously written sound bytes.

Why not open the existing insurance market to national availability. If anyone could by insurance from any provider in any state, the competition would be automatic. Costs would HAVE to come down in order to compete. Small insurance companies would have a great advantage. Small businesses would be able to offer MORE coverage or be able to offer coverage for the first time. Individuals could FINALLY afford good coverage. I think the GOP has brought this up numerous times but it has NEVER been considered.

Maybe it was in those bills they were holding up tonight, which Obama refused to look at.

Obama is giving a GREAT speech!!!

Of course he is--the only thing he can do--is give perfectly pronounced speeches:

the only difference between him and Obama was that Obama's speech was live. he said the same damned things he's been saying for months except for politicizing teddy's death and yelling at Palin.

It looks like Boner, Can't Er, Mc Connel, et al Republicraps are having a fit. Nothing like being a bunch of cranky little kids.

Wow! some of them just stood up. Even Can't Er quit twittering.

Tort reform. 1% of the total health care costs.

Medical Malpractice Insurance runs a minimum of $150 Billion a year, that's a "B" BILLION!!! That is not taking into account specialist who pay $200K PER YEAR for Medical Malpractice Insurance.

Trial Lawyers and only Trial Lawyers keep it out of the loop, if you really believe that the impact of Tort Reform is only 1% of the total cost, your foolish. Trial Lawyers are salivating at the possibility of reaping some of those premium dollars in the court room....

Oh and btw, don't forget they pass that cost on to you.....

The first step to Health Care Reform starts with Tort Reform, anything else is pure BS....

There is no way the money is there with out taxes unless the fees insurance and drug companies have to pay puts them out of business .Once they are out of business who pays?

Well it's not his fault he has to go out there and clarify. Between all the bullshit about the "Death Panels", Abortions being in the bill, and Illegal Immigrants getting free health care there's enough bullshit to build a mountain.

Also, Obama's speech actually had thought put into it too. He is giving Republicans plenty of what they want, but they want more. Which is why as much as Obama wants bipartisanship, Republicans basically want Obama to act as if he were a Republican.

Millions of Americans agreed with what BO said. The problem is--he didn't follow through with what he said. This really isn't the change that Americans expected--that is why his polls are falling off a cliff.----:cuckoo:

The rebuttal isn't even live.

Looking up this guy:

He's been sued for Malpractice THREE times. (No wonder he wants to limit this stuff)

He got scammed trying to buy a british title of Lord supposedly.

Oh, and he's a Birther.

Edit: Noticed the GOP realized that them trying to actually speak about what they want doesn't go well. They just people to go to a website.

When are you democrats going to stop trying to demonize the freakin' messager? Give that crap a rest already.
