If buyers don't fill in the blanks regarding race and ethnicity, the dealer's business can be shut down by ATF. There is no legitimate reason for adding these new requirements. Just why do they want this information and what will they do with it?
If statistics are correct, more white people will be buying guns legally and filling in the forms simply because there are more whites in the country. How will the administration use these stats when going forth with their attack on the 2nd amendment? And how will race play into it? Most gangs have guns that were illegally obtained. Criminals will always have guns without the hassle of jumping through legal hoops. This seems designed to shut down gun sellers because many people know that this is bullshit to answer those questions and might refuse. The gun control crowd isn't addressing violence and murder. They are merely after the legal gun owners and not the criminals.
