Obama finger on the scale of Justice in Kenya?

With all the speculation about Trump, would it not be logical to see Obama's finger on the scale of justice for the gay Kenyan community? Given his propensity to hire gays in his administration, it would appear to be consistent with his values.

Before we condemn only the African and Middle Eastern countries for their brutal treatment of gay men, let's not forget that England after World War II went after gays with a vengeance. When they discovered that a scientist (who had helped prevent a German invasion) was gay, he was forced to take chemical treatments to "cure" him. He grew breasts. He later took his own life.

And after World War II, the Allies kept Herr Hitler's gay victims in prison, for they were considered to be only common criminals.
