i am surprised, seeing as how economists thought only 100,000 jobs were going to be created. the report shows 3 times as many were actually created. had the report read 50,000 jobs created i would have been worried, if 100,000 jobs had been created, then it would have been nothing special.

Really, the only thing? How do you know if Congress had anything to do with it period? There a myriad of factors that go into the economy and how it functions. Congress is only one of them, albeit an important one. My point is don't be so quick to start dishing out praise to anybody in D.C. for anything. Analyzing the effects of the policies of the government and the private sector is a long term science.
