I'm sure there are some on the left that this pisses off... But I think 90% of the country agrees that Hollywood shouldn't be getting a $246 million bailout right now... Let's send that money to the average everyday person who isn't making millions a year...Nice try Barack...

Ahhh, so that's what he meant by "spread the wealth" ..... :eusa_eh:
 
Under existing law, only the first $15 million of production costs can be written off.

Huh?

Why?

Seems to me if the cost of production is more than $15 mil. they ought to be able to write off every legitimate expense.

I'd need to know a lot more about this before I can come down applauding this cut or complaining about it.


The ARTS is an industry, too, folks.

It is, in fact, one of America's most lucritive exports.
