Obama caught stealing play from FDR's Prolong the Depression Playbook

Those of you who followed any of my threads on the Great Depression now have some basic understanding that the reason the Depression lasted so long was not a failure of capitalism, but because FDR was an economic Jihadist who used his Soviet style central planning policies to terrorize the US economy which did not fully recover until Hitler invaded Poland.

Following Herbert "Wonder Boy" Hoover, who was likewise enamored of Stalin's miraculous control of the Soviet economy, FDR took Hoover bad "Government Knows Best" bets and doubled down, multiple times.

He passed massing spending programs, massive regulations dictating how businesses must operate, what they must pay their people and finally took to chastising the "wealthy" Does any of this sound familiar?

Obama has passed massive business crippling regulations (If ObamaCare is so great why does everyone want to be exempt?) And now he has takes to mimic almost word for word the failed Socialist ideology of FDR by saying businesses must share the wealth with the proletariat.

It will be a miracle if we survive into 2012

Starting from a bottom made much worse because FDR refused to work with Hoover on aiding the banks. It's like LBJ Civil Rights record, if you don't count the 7 years he spend suppressing the very legislation he signed, you too can call him a hero. If you dont count the additional damage inflicted on the economy during the transition (Which came in March back then) then FDR record still sucked.

Compared to Harding and Coolidge, FDR was a patzer on reducing unemployment. They brought UE down from 12% to 4% in under 2 years and then by the time Coolidge and Melon were done leaving businesses alone you could not find an unemployed America.
