Cool, now all we gotta do is convince our obambots to move over there and get some of that wonderful "free" health care.

UN millenium development goals (2015)
United Nations Millennium Development Goals

Turkey achieved its 2015 country-specific UN millenium goals in 2008.
- rate of population that earns below 1 US Dollar a day deacresed to Zero by 2008.
- HIV/Aids rate of population decreased to 0.1 %
- Baby mortality rate decreased from 0.029% (2003) to 0.017% (2008)
- Mother mortality rate decreased from 0.028% (2005) to 0.019% (2008)

Turkey has already achieved UN goals for 2015

Interesting, but, as is typical for these types of thread - there is little similarity to the Health Care bill passed in the U.S. and the health care situation in Turkey.

Nice, but thoroughly fallacious try.

Cool. So if we can get the Obamabots to move to Turkey can we get the Bushbots to move to Iraq so you can keep spreading your "democracy"?

"Power of Friendship" initiative
Under the project, more than 10 countries in the Middle East, North Africa and Asia will be provided with electricity by 10 such ships by the end of 2010. In total the ships will generate 2,010 MW of electricity.
Turkey has been supplying electricity to Iraq from two power plants in the southeast of Turkey since 2003 and sees the supply of the powerships as a logical extension of this aid.

When America starts taking lessons from 3rd world countries taking Islamofacist turns, we will look to Turkey for suggestions.

My best suggestion is too look to Germany on what to do with Healthcare! They do a combo of public and private insurance the seems to work best!

When America starts taking lessons from 3rd world countries(...)!

- Abu-Ghraib
- Guantanamo

The Turks' holocaust of 2 million Armenians is the worst of all, by far.

Being slaves to foreign food is not security.

The level of ignorance that is exposed here regards Turkey is an embarrassment.

Even more embarrassing is the willful ignorance that is tolerated, even encouraged here.

Some comparitive factoids for those interested:

The GDP per capita ranks 86th in the world ( USA is in 10th place)

It ranks 102nd in percentage of people living in poverty. (USA is 125th..only marginally better)

It ranks 16th among all nations in terms of GOLD and foreign reserves (The US ranks 21st,...we're worse off than Turkey in that respect).

For those who tire of wallowing in ignorance, there's plenty more national indices to compare and contrast, here:

Israel's per capita income is 3x that of Turkey. Much, if not most, of Turkey's military is armed by Israel.

Suck it up.

how is Germany's long term Debt to GDP ratio looking?

LOL

Or do you just ignore that part.

(...)(...)

Israel has received aid by USA that equals The Marshall Plan rebuilding post-WW2 Europe.

Marshall Plan of Europe
current value prizes = 120 Billion $
Hoover Institution

Israel
As of 2004, nominal prizes 93 Billion $ in aid
http://www.usembassy.it/pdf/other/IB85066.pdf

Comparing population levels of Israel and Egypt, Egypt would have to receive 930 Billion $ of cumulative aid to match the per-capita aid that Israel received only by USA and up to the year 2004.
Germany also is a major aid-sponsor of Israel.
