Report: DOJ Gallup Suit Followed Axelrod Complaint

I wanted to alert you to this investigative piece in The Daily Caller that shows a possible correlation between a Justice Department lawsuit against Gallup and the failure of Gallup to come up with poll numbers satisfactory to the White House.

From the piece:

Internal emails between senior officials at The Gallup Organization, obtained by The Daily Caller, show senior Obama campaign adviser David Axelrod attempting to subtly intimidate the respected polling firm when its numbers were unfavorable to the president.

After Gallup declined to change its polling methodology, Obama’s Department of Justice hit it with an unrelated lawsuit that appears damning on its face.

Axelrod in April tweeted that there were methodological problems with a Gallup poll giving Gov. Mitt Romney a five point edge over President Obama. The White House has long been concerned that, in its view, Gallup tilts against Obama.

yep, unfortunately we don't know if Gallup is now going to be reliable or not...or if they were intimidated by this administration to change the way they poll or fudge their results

Did President Obama kill bin Laden or did the Navy Seals do it? I mean the poor economy is not his fault, but he gets credit for killing Bin Laden? Don't think it's fair to have it both ways.

Who was the Commander in Chief who made the call for our brave men and women to accomplish this mission? Who gave the order?

I can't believe the Obama haters came up with such a stupid argument. President Obama was the only one that could give the order to kill Bin Laden. And he always praised the Navy Seals for the great job they did. But HE had the courage to give the order. Yet you don't want to give him any credit for that. But if the mission had failed, you would have blamed him from here to kingdom come and you know it.

You Obama haters are so mad about it that you could chew nails!!! Because you don't want to give him credit for anything. Too bad GWB was too chicken to do it. And Romney has said it would be a waste of time!!! Let's hear it for the brave GOP leadership:

so, this poor guy thinks that a poll taken on the 6th represents a post convention bounce from a convention that still had a another day to go..

you do realize that the 7 days included 4 during the convention....
