PRINCETON, NJ -- President Obama's job approval rating is at a new low, averaging 40% in July 26-28 Gallup Daily tracking. His prior low rating of 41% occurred several times, the last of which was in April. As recently as June 7, Obama had 50% job approval.

Obama's approval rating averaged 46% in June and was near that level for most of July; however, it has stumbled in the past few days, coinciding with intensification of the debt ceiling/budget battle in Washington.

Sitting back and watching this has been a fcukking hoot for all conservatives.........especially after just sucking on it about 28 short months ago. And you can see the angst rising witihin the posts of the k00ks every day. These people are so stupified that their shit has been such an abject failure in such a short space of time. But I must admit.......... even Im surprised. I didnt think the elevator would be in this state of freefall by mid-2010. Who knew??!!!!

More to the point, in at least 2 polls now his approval Rating among all important independents is under 35%.

Wasn't it Democrats before 08 that told us the only thing that matters is Independents?

Got news for you, His rates among Independents are with in the margin of error of what Bushes Numbers averaged. Low 30%.
